Description of Camp Activities Group Activities Rocket Launch (Sharks) One rocket per registered guide (rocket price included in campout fee) will be available from your Circle Leader. Please build your rocket before the campout individually or with your Circles. We have a Rocket Launch scheduled for the afternoon on Saturday (weather permitting). Alternatively, this will be done Sunday at 9:30 am. Olympics The camp counselors will lead the group in activities including Rubber Boot Toss, Wiffle Ball Home Run Derby, Scooter Race, and Balloon Launcher (or something like those games). Ga Ga Ball A version of dodge ball that is safer. Traditionally the boys have a great time. You can play this game anytime during the weekend we just put a game on the schedule before dinner. Evening Movie (Bears) An evening movie will begin around 8pm in the Kiva/Gym. Camp Activities Fishing Decent pan fish and bass fishing is available at anytime during the weekend. License may be required for adults ($7 one day). Observatory Weather Permitting - the camp will open the observatory and may have 2-4 astronomers come in and set up telescopes. Show up if skies are clear & check it out. They ll let us know if its open. Athletic Field Basketball court, tennis court, soccer goals, volleyball nets are available. Pick-up Dad/Son games can be played by all at anytime. Archery, Gun Range, and Climbing Tower These activities will be available all afternoon for Dads/Sons to prove their skill. 50 Foot Swing For those brave souls who would like to twice be hiked up fifty feet with a friend (2 people per swing) this event will be available at ($2.50 per person). 2011 Fall Campout Checklist Note: Some Bathrooms are Separate from the Cabins Plan accordingly 1. Bedding (sleeping bag or blankets) and pillow 2. Favorite bedtime toy 3. Towels and toiletry articles to wash 4. Flashlight with extra batteries 5. Camera (with film or plenty of space on the chip) 6. Wear clothes for outdoor recreation Dress for the weather. Bring extra clothes for changing due to weather or accidents. 7. Snacks for cabin. 8. Fishing Pole and Bait 9. Bug repellent 10. I 80/90 East to US 421 South. US 421 South to US 30. East on US 30 to Indiana 13 (North). Go North on Indiana 13 8 miles to 500 N (Armstrong Rd). Left onto 500N (Armstrong Rd) and head west a mile or so look for signs for Camp Crosley and take a Right onto 675E and head North again. Look for Entrance on the Left (west) side of 675E first entrance is the old one, this year proceed to second entrance to Camp Crosley this path leads to the North Teen Village of Camp Crosley.
