Welcome to Pulaski Where Opportunities Abound!!! Town of Pulaski Mayor, Robert Nick Glenn As Mayor of Pulaski, I d like to welcome you to our town to enjoy all we have to offer. Whether you come as a new businessowner, a visiting tourist, or someone looking for a new place to call home, Pulaski has opportunities for everyone! Our downtown is on the cusp of a new life with new businesses and a renewed energy. Pulaski offers the peace and quiet of small town rural America, nestled into the heart of the New River Valley, and is surrounded by limitless possibilities. The Town, County, and Chamber of Commerce are anxious to work with new commercial and retail businesses to provide resources necessary to ensure your success. Just a short drive from regional and major airports, medical facilities, and colleges, we have everything we need at our fingertips while remaining in a relaxed and quiet landscape. Our town has room for growth, both for industry and residential, and we will welcome anyone that wants to help us continue to grow. Our town and surrounding areas have more to offer than meets the eye. For the sports enthusiast, we have historic Calfee Park, home of the Pulaski Yankees, a minor league affiliate of the New York Yankees. Pulaski County High School, along with Virginia Tech and Radford University, are close by to provide great football, baseball, basketball, soccer and many other sports for easy entertainment. The County is home to two state parks, Claytor Lake State Park and New River Trail State Park. Claytor Lake offers water sports, beach and swimming areas, fishing and relaxed lake living while the New River Trail is a 57-mile trail that follows an abandoned railroad pathway connecting Pulaski to the City of Galax. To enjoy solitude in the quiet mountains, camping, and hiking, visit Gatewood Reservoir and Campground. The New River also has boating, rafting, kayaking and guided fishing tours. If you love the water, mountains and outdoors, you re going to love it here! Whether you come for a weekend visit or plan to stay for a lifetime, you are welcome to enjoy and explore our community. We make great friends and neighbors and you can count on being treated as family. Mayor Robert Nick Glenn
