Sponsorships 2017 About The Great Christmas Light Show: The Great Christmas Light Show is a park-wide lighted celebration that is sure to capture the true spirit of the season! The drive through light show will run November 24 th through December 31 st and feature almost 2 million lights festively displayed along a 1.5 mile drive throughout the North Myrtle beach Park & Sports Complex. Over 500 magical light displays, some up to 55 feet tall, have been custom made for The Great Christmas Light Show. Visitors will experience 20 enchanting animated figures and holiday scenes where the lights will come to life. NEW this year, a section of light displays come alive to synchronized music. After the journey through the light show, we invite everyone to park their car and visit Santa s Village where they can enjoy hot chocolate and s mores, get an up close look at the lights on the Santa Express Train Ride, stroll 600 ft on the lighted boardwalk, experience the Go Ape lighted tree top adventure, go tubing down Santa s new 40 inflatable slide and, of course, meet Santa! 1

Road will be aligned with 10, 20 foot tall lighted trees. Christmas Town: In the Meadow there will be a village display with small town buildings, ice skaters, Santa and reindeer flying over the roof tops, carolers, and a 50 foot tall lighted tree. Toyland: In our soccer field area, this display will feature 10 foot tall toys including an animated toy rocket, fire breathing dragon, dump truck, robot, teddy bear and more. Candy Land: This display will feature a candy tree orchard, an animated candy making machine, 50 foot long frog licking candy (tongue extends over the road), and various animated candy pieces. Gingerbread Village: This display will feature gingerbread houses and animated gingerbread characters sliding on slides, playing soccer, and more. Nativity: NEW! The reason for the season. A nativity scene with Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, sheep, cows, shepherds, wise men, chickens, skyline of Bethlehem and angels. Synchronized Light & Sound Show: NEW! A band featuring pianos, whistles, guitars, drums, xylophones, bass instruments and music notes will light up to synchronized lights. 3

A magical boardwalk through the cypress trees leads everyone to the village. The excitements builds as they admire twinkling lights and lighted archways. Santa Express Train Ride: With 10,000 riders last year, this was a hit in Santa s Village. Young and old loved the excitement of the ride, getting an up close look at the lights. Company logo on the train tickets and signage. There will be two trains this year due to the popularity of the attraction. Ice Skating: A big hit with all ages. This artificial ice rink offers a festive, fun experience. Parents enjoy watching their children ice skate for the first time. Signage on the ice skating ticket building. Signage along the rink. Santa s Slide: New for 2017! This inflatable toboggan slide is made for adults and children. This 40 ft high slide allows riders to board a snow tube for the ride to the bottom of the slide. Santa Visits: Santa is the main attraction in Santa s Village! Visits with Santa are FREE! Families enjoyed the special time they had to meet with Santa and take their own pictures.
