Event Overview What is the Gala? The Columbia Chamber s Annual Gala is the region s premier business event. This event celebrates Chamber successes of the past year and looks ahead to the future. The Annual Gala also honors our Ambassador of the Year and recognizes the changing of the Chairman and the Board of Directors. Why? The timing of the event was great this year! Wonderful reception, streamlined program, and it kept a captive audience until its prompt closure at 9PM. The Chamber raised the bar! The decor was elegant and a perfect compliment to the purpose of the event. This food was the best food I ve had at any gala I ve been to. It was a joy to be there to witness the honoring of Dawn Staley. What a true treasure to Columbia. The Chamber s unveiling of their Forward, Together initiative was so inspiring that you could hear a pin drop in the room - it was that captivating. This is truly one of my favorite events each year! I feel that the Chamber Staff has done a great job listening to the customer and tweaking the evening each year to try to improve everyone s experience. 2
