Trail Ridge Camp Summer 2018
Dear Parents, We are looking forward to the summer of 2018 with great anticipation knowing that God is able to accomplish great and mighty things at Trail Ridge. We understand and appreciate the great privilege and the responsibility that comes with caring for campers. That s why we take such care and attention in prayerfully selecting our summer staff members. We are also committed to selecting speakers who have as much passion for your campers as we do. Our theme this summer is Character Quest. During each week of camp, we ll be examining the lives and examples of different characters in the Bible. While looking at their lives, campers will be given the opportunity to examine their own life and see how it affects their relationship with God. Hebrews 12:1-2a will be our theme verses this summer as we seek out Godly Character: Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith Summer Schedule June 8-9......Trail Ridge Experience June 18-23...Kids Kamp 1 June 25-30..Kids Kamp 2 July 2-7 Lifeline Camp 1 July 9-14...Kids Kamp 3 July 16-21....Lifeline Camp 2 July 23-28...Teen Camp First Time Kids Kampers and Teen Campers will receive a $50 Discount!

Each week, we ll be bringing in a special guest speaker to challenge and encourage campers to show Godly character. Teen Camp Teen camp will be held the week of July 23-28. This week of camp is just for teens age 14-18. Campers going to have an awesome week of getting to know other teens, participating in the camp program and hearing 9 different chapel messages throughout the week. Our chapel sessions will be geared toward building Godly character and avoiding the pull of ungodly influences using God s Word as our guide. As our campers get older, our activities get more elaborate. Teen Camp is a great opportunity for past Kids Kampers and for new teens alike to enjoy a week at Trail Ridge. Lifeline Camp Lifeline Camp is a unique program offered by Trail Ridge for campers who would not be able to attend without scholarships provided from camp supporters. We are planning on bringing in over 150 campers on full scholarships this summer. During these weeks, we still need our full crew of volunteers to run the weeks of camp. Assistance is needed on the kitchen crew, grounds crew and housekeeping crew. Volunteer lifeguards and camp nurses are also needed for these weeks as we continue to run our same type of program that we do for Kids Kamp giving our campers opportunities for many new experiences outdoors in God s creation! We also are in need of supporters to give to the Scholarship fund. Pulling from this fund provides these weeks of camp absolutely free for our campers as well as their transportation to and from camp. If you are interested in sponsoring campers for Lifeline Camp, please contact us. Your gifts to the scholarship fund help cover their week of camp as well as their transportation to and from camp. Volunteer applications and an online donation form can be found at TrailRidge.org. Help make a difference in the lives of these campers with your financial and volunteer support.

Gopher Ball- Lord willing this project will be completed in the spring of 2018! This addition will bring another exciting activity for our campers to enjoy. BB Gun and Slingshot Range- This project should be completed in the spring of 2018. Campers won t need to bring anything to enjoy the range as all guns, slingshots, targets, ammo and safety gear will be provided. Trained staff will always be supervising this activity.
