AY 3: 8 th November - CU CHI TUNNELS (B,, D) oday we will visit Cu Chi Tunnels seeing the cenery change from a bustling city to views f rice paddies, villagers drying noodles by he side of the road and other scenes typical o southern Vietnam. Cu Chi Tunnels consist f an incredible underground tunnel netork constructed by the Vietnamese reistance during both the French and Amerian wars. This tour will be specially led by a ietnamese Veteran who lived and fought in he tunnels for 12 years. After the tour we ill return to Ho Chi Minh City for lunch and city tour. Tonight we will enjoy a group elcome Dinner at Koto restaurant. vernight in Ho Chi Minh AY 4: 9 th November A DAY TO BEN TRE (B,, D) his morning we will leave behind the husle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City to experince the true life of the Delta region. We ill explore orchards, farms and fisheries; isiting intimate authentic cottage indusries such as hu tieu (rice noodles), brick aking, and coconut processing, travelling ike a local on the back of a xe loi (two enched cart), and by boat. We will also pend time with locals whose family s livelioods have been made in the Delta for genrations. A highlight today will be our deliious 5-course Vietnamese lunch on the arden terrace of a home stay restaurant. ater this afternoon we will return to Ho Chi inh and enjoy dinner at a floating restauant. vernight in Ho Chi Minh City. AY 5: 10 th November - HO CHI MINH HA TRANG (B, L, D) fter breakfast we will be transferred to the irport for our fight to Nha Trang. This afternoon after we arrive in Nha Trang we will have a city tour stopping at the Po Nagar Cham Towers, the Alexander Yersin Museum, the XQ workshop where exquisite handmade embroideries can be seen, Long Son Pagoda, with its enormous white Buddha statue and the lively and colourful Dam Market. This evening dinner will be hosted at a local restaurant. Overnight in Nha Trang DAY 6: 11 th November - NHA TRANG HALF DAY ISLAND TOUR (B, L, D) This morning we will take a boat trip to visit some of the nearby islands. Along the way we will stop at nearby villages and relax on the boat s deck and people watch as Vietnamese villagers, whose ancestors have lived on these islands for generations, go about their daily lives. After our fresh seafood lunch on Bamboo Island, our boat will take us back to Nha Trang City. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure to explore Nha Trang ahead of dinner this evening. Overnight in Nha Trang DAY 7: 12 th November - NHA TRANG DA NANG HOI AN (B, L, D) This morning we will be transferred to the airport for our flight to Danang. On arrival you will be transferred by coach to Hoi An. Later this afternoon, we will have a walking tour of the ancient town centre to visit the former merchants homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, a Chinese communal hall and the colourful market before dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Hoi An DAY 8: 13 th November - HOI AN - MY SON (B, L, D) This morning we will enjoy a tour to the capital and religious centre of the former Champa Kingdom, My Son. Here, 40km southwest of Hoi An in a lush green valley, are dozens of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7 th and 13 th centuries. On the way back to Hoi An we will visit Tra Kieu, formerly known as Simhapura or the Lion Citadel, the capital of Champa between the 4 th and 8 th centuries. Some of the finest sculptures in Danang s Cham Museum originated from here. This afternoon is at leisure ahead of dinner at a local restaurant tonight. Overnight in Hoi An DAY 9: 14 th November - HOI AN DA NANG HUE (B, L, D) Enjoy this morning at leisure before leaving Hoi An for Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. We will drive through Danang and visit Marble Mountain and the Cham Museum, which contains the finest collection of Cham sculptures in the world before climbing over the Pass of Ocean Clouds and dropping down to the wonderfully photogenic fishing village of Lang Co. Overnight in Hue. DAY 10: 15 th November - HUE HANOI (B, L, D) This morning we cruise along the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the most beautiful Pagodas in Vietnam and visit the Imperial Palace. After lunch we are transferred to the airport for our flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, we will be transferred to our hotel before dinner this evening at a local restaurant. DAY 11: 16 th November - HALONG BAY (B, L, D) Following breakfast, we have a morning of coach travel as we leave Hanoi and travel to Halong Bay. We will arrive at the jetty in Halong City towards noon and proceed to board our boat in time for lunch which will be served as we cruise towards the bay itself. In the afternoon, enjoy various activities, or perhaps your would prefer to spend some time relaxing on board on the sun deck. Towards the end of the day the boat sets anchor for the night among the karst formations. Dinner is served on board. Overnight on Halong Bay. DAY 12: 17 th November - HANOI (B, L, D) Enjoy your morning as the sun rises on Halong and breakfast is served while the vessel cruises slowly through the magnificent rock formations and back towards port. After lunch we will disembark and transfer back to Hanoi. DAY 13: 18 th November - HANOI (B, L, D) Today we will enjoy a city tour seeing sights such as Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Fine Art Museum. After lunch we will also visit the Temple of Literature, Lake of Restored Sword and the Old Quarter. This evening a highlight will be the Vietnamese Water Puppet Show ahead of our Farewell Dinner at the hotel. DAY 14: 19 th November - DEPART HANOI (B) Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning and the day at leisure. A great chance to do some last minute shopping and sightseeing at your own pace, before our transfer to the airport for your homeward flights via Singapore with Singapore Airlines. DAY 15: 20 th November - ARRIVE AUSTRAL- IA This morning upon arrival in Australia your wonderful journey comes to an end.
Seniors Holiday Travel Team Group Travel Terms of Trade and Schedule of Fees Prices Schedules and availability, fare conditions and prices can change at any time. Price changes may occur for reason or matters outside our control which increase the cost of the products or service. Such factors include adverse currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes and airfare increases. Deposits Seniors Holiday Travel requires a booking deposit which is charged per person and deducted from your final balance. The deposit is non-refundable if you should cancel. i. 1st deposit for this tour is $1000.00 per person and is due within 7 days of booking. ii. Final payment is due 100 days prior to departure. Payments All prices are based on payment by cash, direct deposit or cheque. A credit card surcharge of 2% for Visa and Mastercard and 3% for American Express Card applies if you elect to use them for payment. If you opt to make a direct deposit into our nominated bank account it may take at least 24 hours to be processed into our account. Cancellations, Refunds & Amendments Any cancellations of the Tour will result in the following cancellation fees: Days of notice prior to Tour commencement From booking until 100 days 99 days or less Cancellation charge (per person) Loss of Deposit 100% of Tour Price including deposit Cancellation must be made in writing for your reservation to be cancelled. Health & Fitness/Activity Level You must ensure that you are aware of any health requirements for your travel and that you are able to participate in the activities included in your itinerary. If you are unsure about your fitness to travel, please check with your GP or specialist clinic. Payment of deposit to Seniors Holiday Travel acts as a warranty that the traveller is reasonably healthy and/or fit to participate in the tour. Seniors Holiday Travel reserves the right to remove a traveller from a tour at the travellers own expense, if their health/ fitness interferes with the tour or other traveller s tour experience in any way. We do not, nor are we required to, provide carers or assistants for those with reduced mobility or other health needs. In particular, tour guides, coach drivers, and your fellow passengers will not act as assistants or carers in these circumstances. Travel Insurance Travel Insurance is highly recommended for all travellers. Seniors Holiday Travel can assist with your travel insurance needs. Please ensure you take note of the special inclusions and exclusions as they may relate to your particular circumstances. Pre-existing medical conditions and cover for these are approved or rejected by the Insurer. If you have taken out another Travel Insurance Policy or believe you have adequate cover from a credit card policy we will require a photocopy and details of the insurance cover that you hold. Please note that if you have insurance from another source and subsequently require our assistance in processing an insurance claim, this will incur a fee of at least $110. Travel Documentation Travel documents include (without limitation) airline tickets, hotel vouchers, tour vouchers or any other documentation used to confirm an arrangement with a service provider. Travel documents may be subject to certain conditions and/or restrictions including being non-refundable, non-changeable and subject to cancellation and/or amendment fees. These documents cannot be transferred to another person to use. All airline tickets must be issued in the name of the passport/photo id holder. An incorrect name on a booking may result in an inability to use that booking and it may be cancelled. Any errors in names, dates and timings on your documentation will be your responsibility if not advised at time of booking. As a general rule, your travel documents are issued by the service providers two weeks prior to departure. For any amendments after final payment a fee of $55 per document plus supplier fees will be charged. Third Party Suppliers Our tour itinerary is a guide only and although we will make every reasonable effort to adhere to the programme, we reserve the right to make any alterations as necessary. Alterations may come about due to weather conditions, strikes, public holidays, local festivals, renovations and/or upgrades or other reasons. Any additional expense incurred by the passenger is not our responsibility. Your travel arrangements are subject to the booking conditions of each travel provider you are using. Seniors Holiday Travel is responsible for advising upon travel arrangements and making the bookings. Seniors Holiday Travel is not responsible for cancellations of tours, loss or damage directly or indirectly caused by the airline or suppliers and other transport delays or reschedules, or insolvency, loss or damage to person, property, delays, accidents, acts of war and force majeure impacting upon your travel arrangements. Seniors Holiday travel acts only as an agent. Airfares included in your package holiday are provided in economy class. Seniors Holiday Travel cannot be responsible for seating allocation. Privacy Statement Your contact information will be required by third party suppliers to accept and confirm a booking. Privacy Laws safeguards your personal details from being distributed for marketing purposes. Your information may be used by Seniors Holiday Travel for the purpose of relaying travel related information about you to third parties. You agree that our Seniors Holiday Travel representative or third party suppliers may take photographs of you while you are on holiday and that these may be used in our Group Brochures and/or advertising, publicity material or online without obtaining any further consent or payments in respect of such photographs and/or films.
