Resort Newsletter Page 3 Owner s Profile Page Surrounded by Texans! took Craig 45 minutes to ride the bus to school) so purchasing a lot would seem restrictive, but they have a pretty amazing view from their coach. They will break ground in October on their landscaping improvements which will carve and mold the lot into their own piece of paradise. The outdoor landscaping and kitchen will be complete by June of 2014 when they return. Craig and Penny Cannon heard about the Polson Motorcoach Resort from some friends of theirs from Florida. They had plans to stay for a month at Pagosa Springs, Colorado, but their friends said you have to see Polson, Montana. They thought to themselves, What could possibly be worth seeing in Polson? Penny enjoys sewing and they both enjoy hunting on one of the three ranches they own in Texas. Craig is happy doing anything that involves the outdoors. At first, Penny didn t like being surrounded by mountains, but she s grown to love our Mission Mountains. They enjoy 7 grandkids, all of which are boys with the exception of one girl. So you can see why the coach comes in handy then they all come to visit the ranch! There s a new pilot in town! They arrived and what they saw definitely made them stay longer. When they wanted to extend their stay their site was booked. There is only one way you stay in your site and that s if you buy it, said Paul London, Polson RV Resort owner. And they did. Craig and Penny were drawn to the RV Lifestyle about 3 years ago when their oil field equipment sales business, Cannon Sales Inc. required Craig to do quite a bit of traveling and since Penny enjoyed traveling with her husband but didn t like the hotel living it only made sense to purchase a motorcoach. She runs the office side of the business, and Craig does the sales side. Craig learned the oil field industry from an early age because he spent part of his childhood in an oil field camp in Odessa, Texas. His dad knew the trade and so does Craig. They come from wide open spaces (it Polson RV Lot Owner Ray Matthews has always wanted to fly and when he found Polson RV Resort it was the perfect opportunity. Local pilot Trey Moran taught him and he has really enjoyed the Polson FBO and the fly boys who hang out there. Big accomplishment for him...you can call him "Ace.
