2015 NNE Youth Camp FAQ s Camp Speakers: Camp Features: Canteen: Water Baptism: Head Check: Medications and Inhalers Visitors at Camp: Check-in: Check-out: Elementary Camp (K-5th grade) TBA Teen Camp (6th 12th grade) - TBA Fun Time Activities, Electives, Outdoor Activities, Swimming, Canoeing, Ministry Opportunities, Bible Study and Worship Service. Canteen will be available throughout the day in all camps to sell snacks, misc. items and small gifts. A limited number of camp t-shirts will be available for $15 (a good reason to register by the Early Bird Deadline). Elementary Campers can pre-order canteen cards or purchase them at camp registration. When a student confesses salvation in Jesus Christ at camp and requests water baptism, a special notification will be sent to his/her Pastor so a scheduled baptism can be arranged at his/her local church. This will allow parents and family members to witness this important spiritual experience. In keeping with the policy of many schools and child-care facilities, every camper will be checked for head lice before they are allowed to check-in to their room. This process will be handled very discreetly and professionally. However, anyone with head lice or nits will not be admitted to camp. They will be allowed to return to camp after they have been properly treated and re-checked. If you have an inhaler, you will be allowed to keep it with you with a doctor s note. Medications MUST be in their prescribed containers, along with detailed instructions. Because visits during the day can be very disruptive to the camp schedule and to our ability to provide a highly secure/safe environment; we ask that a visit during the day be of absolute necessity only. However, anyone is welcome to attend our worship services at night. (Please call the Regional Office for service times). For security purposes, all visitors will be asked to check-in, wear a visitor s lanyard/tag, and leave the campground as soon as church is over. It is recommended that phone calls to camp be limited.
