Project initiator: Administration of the FEZ Grodnoinvest Project goal: creation of an amusement park with an extreme zone Project status: investment offer, investor is required Brief description of the project: In order to attract more Belarusian and foreign tourists to the territory of the Grodno region and Avgustov Canal it is suggested to realize an investment project of creation an amusement park with an extreme zone near the village Berzelaty on the territory of special tourism and recreation park Avgustov Canal.
Within the project, creation of the following objects is planned: - fun public area - shopping area - extreme fun area - rest area - water park area - fast food area - car parking area
Project ground: The Park has a good geographical location on the border with EU. Regional transit importance has a positive influence on tourism development and successful realization of investment projects in tourism. Grodno is situated in eastern part of Europe on the border with EU. It is one of the largest tourist, cultural and industrial centers of the Republic of Belarus. The population of the city is about 330 000 people. The region has a well-developed network of roads for passenger and cargo communication with Europe and Asia. There are available the railway lines, types of western and eastern railway tracks, international airport. More than 800.000 foreigners visited the Grodno region in 2011. All that creates great preconditions for the successful investment project implementation.

Brief information about the special tourism & recreation park Avgustov canal: The park Avgustov Canal is a unique natural complex in the north-west of Grodno region, which stretches along the border with Poland and Lithuania. Financing for the creation of engineering and transport infrastructure required for realization of park residents investment projects with the volume of investments amounting to about 5 million euro, is based on the funds specified as a priority in the public investment program and local budgets for the next financial year.
