Interactive Digital Media Tax Credit Regulations (Amendment) 64/18 (i) was resident in the province on the last day of the calendar year immediately before the year in which his or her salary was earned; or (ii) was not resident in the province on the last day of the calendar year immediately before the year in which his or her salary was earned but was resident in the province on the last day of the calendar year in which his or her salary was earned; 2. (1) Paragraph 9(1)(a) of the regulations is repealed and the following substituted: (a) applies in the form and manner that the minister requires within 18 months of the end of the taxation year; (2) Section 9 of the regulations is amended by adding immediately after subsection (3) the following: (4) Notwithstanding paragraph (1)(a), the minister may issue a tax credit certificate under subsection (1) to an eligible corporation who applied for a certificate of registration under section 8 before October 13, 2016. 3. Teacher Certification Regulations (Amendment) 65/18 NLR1134/96 as amended 1. (1) Paragraph 2(1)(g) of the Teacher Certification Regulations is repealed and the following substituted: (g) "course" means, except in paragraph (i.1), a course of study at Memorial University or a course of study at another recognized educational institution that, in the opinion of the registrar, is equivalent to a course of Memorial University; (2) Subsection 2(1) of the regulations is amended by adding immediately after paragraph (i) the following: (i.1) "full time student" means a student enrolled in a minimum of 4 courses during a term or another minimum number of courses satisfactory to the registrar; (3) Subsection 2(1) of the regulations is amended by adding immediately after paragraph (m) the following: (m.1) "post secondary studies" means studies at the College of the North Atlantic or at another educational institution that, in the opinion of the registrar, is equivalent to the College of the North Atlantic; 2. The regulations are amended by adding immediately after section 14.1 the following: Teaching and learning assistant 14.2 (1) A level II certificate endorsed "Teaching and Learning Assistant" may be issued to an applicant who (a) has 20 credited courses satisfactory to the committee; or (b) has completed, as a full time student, a minimum of 2 years post secondary studies satisfactory to the committee. (2) A person who was issued a certificate under section 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 may be employed as a teaching and learning assistant and shall not be required to apply for a certificate referred to in subsection (1).
