SEPTEMBER MINUTES Omissions: Cheryl is also helping with the Christmas Party Plans! The Membership Deposit was $40.00. Errors: Book donation to the city library should have read October meeting. This was put off to the November meeting as Linda L. was not in attendance. MILESTONES ----------- Dawn 4 years Maryse 4 years Maureen 6 years TREASURER REPORT $84.46 was deposited to account from 50/50 contributions. $6034.93 current bank account balance *Bike Show cheque has not cleared the account yet.

RIDE REPORT Donnas 6th Annual A maize ing Ride great turn out & Awesome route Thanks Donna wish I could have stayed to the end! Fort Saskatchewan Toy Run how did it go?????? Trash-n-dash Fall Edition Wanda, Heather and Marlene collected 9 bags of garbage! Heather found $10!!!! Way to go ladies thanks for taking care of it all yourselves. Edmonton Toy Run Linda L. Lori shared a frightening experience while dealing with traffic. Overall it went really well and she had fun! Last Ride of the Season and bonfire Dani good food, good ride and not too cold. Upcoming Events: October 29 Welcome to the Haunted House At Cheryl s. BYOB and possibly a pot luck. Watch your email for details! November 19 Pizza Night planning party December 4 Wanda s Christmas Wrap at Santa s Anonymous December 6 Christmas Party January 13-15 Edmonton Bike Show Winter Nationals Feb 17-19 in Las Vegas Summer Nationals June in Reno

TRINKETS Canadian and USA patches Wanda has sold 52 patches (38 Can. + 12 USA) while traveling about. A cheque for $375.00 + $15 cash was given to Dani for deposit to our account. Two patches were donated to the Alberta Women s Rally. Thanks Wanda! OLD BUISINESS NEW BUISINESS Christmas Party: We will be celebrating at The Creperie located at 10220 103 St. on December 6 th at 6:30pm. Everyone should bring a $20.00 gift for the Chinese gift exchange. It is $30.00 per person - Cheryl made a motion that the club will pay for ½ of each member s meal and Monica seconded all voted in favour except for one abstained. Awards are given out for High Mileage, Participation Points and the Riding Contest. Each award has a 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd place winner and these receive gas card prizes of $30, $20 and $10. Plaques are also engraved with the winners name for 1 st Place High Mileage and 1st place in Participation Points. Dani brought a gift leftover from last year s party. Wanda brought the plaques from last years events. Dani will bring cash to November s meeting to purchase the gas cards. Trash and Dash: Wanda expressed concern for the turn out and if we should renew the 3 year contract. If we do not complete a clean up at least once per year, our contract is cancelled, the sign is removed and we can never apply again. Linda T. suggested we set a date at the planning night but revise it during the riding season next year to fit member s summer plans. Lori made a motion that we allow the Trash and Dash date to be flexible and this was seconded by Marilyn all were in favour.

Trinkets: Wanda passed around a picture of a Windy Lawn Ornament and Dani proposed a design for a skull cap to commemorate next years Women s Rally. Wanda will contact Head office for approval to sell them both. Ride Contest: All submissions for the Cemeteries ride contest must be brought to the November Meeting. None will be accepted after this meeting please do not bring it to pizza night or to Donnas house after the meeting. Mileage: Please have your safe mileage recorded and approved by Marilyn H., Heather or your bike shop. Contact Heather if you need the form it is also on the website & Shootin the Breeze. Bring this to the November Meeting NO LATER! They will all be sent to Head Office together and must be postmarked by Nov. 15. Everyone please submit what you have ridden this year - every little bit counts toward us winning. If we had all submitted last year we may have won the award for safe mileage.

SPOON REPORT Linda T. is still the proud owner of the spoon! Wanda shared a funny but painful branding story but it was voted out as a spoonable offense so I don t get to share it here. BUTT you could ask her if you can see it!!!!!! 50/50 DRAW Thanks to Dani for selling them and congrats to Heather who won $12.00!
