REGISTRATION BROCHURE 6 TH SNIS International Endovascular Stroke Conference (IESC) Endovascular Therapy & Stroke Systems of Care MAY 1 3, 2017 SHERATON NEW YORK TIMES SQUARE HOTEL NEW YORK, NEW YORK
6 TH SNIS International Endovascular Stroke Conference (IESC) Dear Colleague, After a successful outing Down Under, SNIS is bringing the IESC back to the States. This is your opportunity to take part in what is fast becoming the most comprehensive offering for practitioners focused on the complexities that accompany neurointerventional stroke treatment. This year s IESC will combine didactic sessions on current, relevant topics with professionally filmed acute ischemic stroke cases from 6 world-renowned stroke centers that will show the latest devices and techniques from patient arrival through thrombectomy procedure. This pseudolive, filmed case format provides the advantages of observing live cases but avoids the unforeseen delays, potential patient safety issues and inefficiencies that tend to occur with live case conferences. An independent panel of experts will edit the cases and the operating experts will walk you through the patient s care. An expert panel made up of Emergency Medicine, Stroke Neurology, Neurointerventional Surgery, Neuroanesthesia and Neurocritical Care will then lead audience discussion. The didactic sessions intermingled throughout the cases will review current guidelines, ongoing research and future direction. Make your plans now to join us in May in New York! As we gather in the Big Apple, we are confident that this forum will not only continue the tradition of excellence found in previous IESCs but, with the added component of pseudolive cases, be our best one yet. We look forward to seeing you there! Sincerely, Aquilla Turk, DO Jeffrey Wagner, MD John Wong, MD Donald Frei, MD Program Chair Program Chair Program Chair SNIS President Continuing Education Statement Accreditation Statement This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of Amedco and the Society of Neuro- Interventional Surgery (SNIS).
