3 What will the drive be like for the teens? The bus will have a DVD player that will play no movies rated more than PG. The bus will have one ipod that will play music for teens to enjoy together. Teens will sleep, talk, bond, and grow in community. WE DISCOURAGE INDIVIDUAL MUSIC PLAYERS, CELL PHONES, AND DVD PLAYERS WHICH IS WHY THEY ARE NOT PERMITTED. Do you have a DVD that would work well? Suggest to Andrew at this time.... Will there be stops for food, bathroom, stretches, etc? Bathroom: Yes, but as minimal as possible. Often times road trips feel even longer because of the frequent stops. We will be stopping for two 30 minute breaks for food. All other stops conducted along the way will be food/rotate driver stops. We are on a time limit and want to be at camp in time. The bus has a small bathroom that can be used for emergencies... Food: Teens are encouraged to bring cash for the trip, not only for food along the way/returning but also because there is a General Store at Camp. If parents would like teens to spend more money at the Life Teen General Store, we ENOCURAGE PRE PACKED SNACKS, LUNCHES, BREAKFASTS, ETC. Only water & fruit with snacks will be provided for on the Trip. Monies to be brought: o Cash $15 $25 for road, another $15 $35 for Store. o OR o Parent s blank check for the Life Teen Store.
