Introduction To PEBs Pre Engineered Steel buildings are also fabricated steel buildings same as conventional steel buildings. But there are few differences which have made PEBs popular now a days 1) Technological improvement over the year has contributed immensely to the enhancement of quality of life through various new products and services. One such revolution was the 'Pre-engineered buildings.' These are the structures for which entire Engineering is done on paper before starting actual execution. 2) PEBs are not based on available structural steel sections in the market. 3) In PEBs we make own parameters of steel sections to suit exact requirement as per structural design. 4) It optimizes steel consumption by simply optimizing the steel sections. 5) In PEBs we make a single consolidated steel section; instead of jointing so many ready parameters and making the columns/trusses/purlins etc. 6) In PEBs we can opt for bigger spans in simplified sections at a cheaper cost. 7) Entire fabrication work goes in a controlled workshop. And it gives very good welding quality, accuracy and beauty to the structures. 8) At site only assembly part remains balanced which does not need any cutting/welding operations.
