Iberian Capitals - 15 days Day 1 - Welcome to Lisbon Reception at the airport. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. Rest of the day free. Accommodation: 4* hotel Lisbon Cathedral Day 2 - Lisbon Full day tour in Lisbon. Panoramic tour in downtown Lisbon which includes Rossio Square, Terreiro do Paço Square and visit of Lisbon s Cathedral and St. George s Castle. Free time for lunch. Jerónimos Monastery - Lisbon In the afternoon visit to the Belém district to visit the Jerónimos Monastery and the Belém Tower one of the symbols of the city both from the 16th century and both UNESCO World Heritage sites. Iberian Capitals - 15 days Day 3 - Lisbon / Sintra / Cascais / Lisbon Sintra is a magical town close to Lisbon which is worth visiting at least once in your life. Visit of the Pena National Palace, the most iconic monument of Sintra, built in one of the highest points in the region surrounded by a natural park of untold beauty, followed by a visit to the town s centre, the ideal place for free lunch. In the afternoon trip to Cabo da Roca Lighthouse situated in the most western point of continental Europe and then the gorgeous town of Cascais considered the French Riviera of Portugal. Return to Lisbon. Pena Palace - Sintra Cascais lighthouse Day 4 - Lisbon Breakfast in the hotel. Free day to enjoy Lisbon at your leisure. Rua Augusta, Lisbon Day 5 - Lisbon / Azeitão / Évora Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Transfer to the Azeitão region for a visit to local wine estate with tasting. The opportunity to try out the famous Azeitão cheese is not to be missed at the local cheese shops nearby. Trip to Évora. Check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day free. Iberian Capitals - 15 days Day 6 - Évora Breakfast at the hotel. Morning for walking tour of Évora s centre, including the Bones Chapel, the cathedral, Giraldo Square. Free lunch. After lunch there will be a visit to a local wine estate with tasting and return to Évora Rest of the day free. Roman temple - Évora Giraldo Square - Évora Day 7 - Évora / Mérida / Seville Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Trip to Mérida, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit of the roman theatre and tour of the centre. Stop for free lunch. After lunch trip to Seville and check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day free. Iberian Capitals - 15 days Day 8 - Seville Breakfast at the hotel. The day begins with a guided tour of Seville to visit the Cathedral, Giralda, Alcazar and the Santa Cruz quarter. Alcazar - Seville Day 9 - Córdoba / Seville Breakfast in the hotel. Departure to Córdoba, once the capital of the Caliphate of Córdova and a city devoted to crafts and culture. The evidence of this can be seen in this Andalucian city that is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. Full day tour of this amazing city. Córdoba Return to Seville. Day 10 - Seville / Ronda / Málaga Breakfast in the hotel and check-out. Departure to Ronda for a tour of this unexpected treasure of Andalucía, the town chosen by the actor Orson Welles to have his ashes buried. Free time for lunch. Ronda After lunch departure to Málaga. After lunch departure to Granada for a half day tour in search of Moorish treasures including the Alhambra. Málaga Return to Málaga. Rest of the day free. Alhambra - Granada Day 12 - Málaga / Madrid Breakfast in the hotel and check-out. Morning free to enjoy Málaga. In the afternoon board the AVE (high speed train) to Madrid. A 3-hour trip. Iberian Capitals - 15 days Day 13 - Madrid Breakfast in the hotel. Madrid is one of the world s most vibrant and seductive cities. Today a local guide will meet the group in the lobby of the hotel for a full day tour of Madrid. In the morning the group will enjoy a panoramic tour of the city. At the end of the morning the mini bus will leave the group in the centre for a walking tour to visit some of the capital s most impressive sights: the Plaza de Oriente, the historic quarter including the 17th century Plaza Mayor, a wonderful Baroque square lined with arcades and picturesque cafés with a stop for a free lunch or snack. Free lunch. In the afternoon visit to El Prado Museum that houses some of the world s finest art. Cathedral - Madrid La Cibeles - Madrid Day 14 - Madrid Breakfast in the hotel.
