GOODALL Elephant Hide LPG Discharge Hose starts with a nitrile compound that remains pliable for the life of the hose. Around this we braid a high tensile textile reinforcement. The stainless steel adds strength, while the textile braid enables the neoprene interior to bleed through and melt into the Elephant Hide cover, vulcanizing three layers into one. Elephant Hide. GOODALL Elephant Hide Plus LPG is our top discharge hose. You ll find it hard at work wherever abrasion resistance and general toughness are needed. A tube that remains flexible. Unlike other LPG hose tubes, ours doesn t stiffen and crack over time. Our smooth, seamless extruded LPG tube is made of a special nitrile compound that retains its flexibility and integrity even in the hostile atmosphere created by LPG. Add a braided stainless steel carcass and an extremely tough cover, and you get a hose with a very long working life. The hide of an elephant. GOODALL Elephant Hide Plus LPG hose is tough stuff. We developed its neoprene cover specifically for LPG purposes. Since liquified petroleum gas gives off vapour, the hose structure must be permeable, which means a neoprene cover. Your average neoprene isn t that tough but then it s not Elephant Hide. Ours is a proprietary compound that outlasts competing hose covers by up to 80%. We include eight rows of pinpricking on the cover for extra permeability. This gives any vapour an easy escape route, preventing blowouts.
