FIRST AID & MEDICATION The Camp Jubilee First Aid Attendant is responsible for First Aid and handing out of all medication. All medication will be collected and stored in the First Aid room. Please send all medication in a zip lock bag with clear directions on their use. Leftover medication will be returned at the end of camp. Prior to your camper s arrival, please thoroughly check your child s head for lice. Campers live in a cabin environment close to many other campers and it is very difficult to treat outbreaks of lice. Please be advised that upon arrival all campers will be checked for lice by Camp Jubilee staff. Campers with lice infestation will not be able to attend until treated. CAMP JUBILEE S BEHAVIOUR EXPECTATION POLICY Please read carefully Camp Jubilee provides a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. Our staff are trained to assist campers to have a successful camping experience. In the event that a camper threatens the safety of security of others or themselves, or exhibits complete disregard of camp rules, the child may be sent home. In addition, the parent/guardian will be responsible for any costs associated with the campers dismissal for behaviour reasons (i.e. water taxi, bus fare, etc). The consumption of alcohol, non-prescription drugs and/or smoking is not permitted at any time. Camp Jubilee has a zero tolerance policy towards bullying and intimidation. If a camper is removed from camp for behaviour reasons, no refund will be given for any portion of the camp session. As a result of technology... We share the concern of many regarding the dangers associated with the internet, from cyber bullying to inappropriate photos and communications. Please ensure your camper understands that we will not tolerate or permit any reference to any camper, staff or Camp Jubilee on the web that is in any way negative or could be construed as negative, whether it s a photo, video or text. We expect campers to be respectful in all communications on the internet (no profanity / inappropriate language) and not use any website, blog or other internet medium to disparage the camp or its campers.
