U.S. industry average passenger enplanements as reported by Airlines for America (A4A): Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport Enplanements Current Month Year-to-Date System 2.1% 1.3% 1.8% 1.% 4.6% 3.3% activity increased 1.1% from October 212. This increase in traffic was due to the impact of Hurricane Sandy in October 212 as well as new and additional service by US Airways and Southwest. Significant activity by carrier follows: Airline US Airways Delta American United Southwest Frontier Comments 3.7% passenger growth 13 additional daily departures New service to Wilmington (NC) and Myrtle Beach in February 213, and Ft. Myers effective November 212 An additional daily departure to Orlando and Tampa effective November 212 7.4% decline in passenger activity Reduced capacity to Atlanta, Memphis, and Detroit 2.% increase in passenger activity Reduced service to Dallas/Ft. Worth in December 212 2.3% decline in passenger activity Increased service to Chicago and increased capacity to Newark were offset by reduced service to Cleveland and capacity reductions to Houston Intercontinental 11.6% increase in passenger traffic New service to Houston Hobby in August 213 18.8% decline in passenger activity Reduced service to Kansas City and Omaha in November 212 and eliminated service to Milwaukee in November 212 passenger traffic declined 1.% and was primarily a result of US Airways discontinuing service to Ottawa in February 213. Both US Airways and Air Canada reduced service to Montreal and Toronto. US Airways also discontinued service to Halifax in September 213. US Airways, including its regional affiliates, had the largest commercial passenger market share with 4.8%, slightly less than 41.% in October 212. 1

Washington Dulles Airport Passenger Activity Passenger traffic increased 2.9% from October 212 due in part to the impact of Hurricane Sandy in October 212. commercial activity increased 1.3% and international activity increased 6.5% in October 213. Significant domestic activity by carrier follows: Airline Comments United 3.1% increase in passenger activity Discontinued service to Allentown/Bethlehem in March 213, Manchester and Pensacola in April 213, and Clarksburg in July 213 New service to Ft. Lauderdale in November 212, Fayetteville in March 213, and Grand Rapids in May 213 Additional daily departure to Denver, Houston, Seattle and New Orleans Delta 14.8% decline in passenger activity Discontinued service to Cincinnati in March 213 and reduced service to La Guardia from 4 to 2 daily departures in September 213 Virgin America Reduced service to San Francisco from 4 daily departures to 2 / passenger traffic growth of 6.5% was primarily driven by new and expanded service. Significant activity by carrier follows: Airline Comments United 3.3% increase in passenger activity New service to San Salvador in January 213 and 2 additional daily departures to Toronto Reduced service to Frankfurt from 21 weekly departures to 14 in November 212 and reduced service to Kuwait, Geneva, and Dublin in October 213 Etihad New service to Abu Dhabi began in March 213 Aer Lingus Discontinued service to Madrid in November 212 Brussels New service to Brussels began in June 213 Saudi Arabian 4.% passenger growth Expanded service by 3 weekly departures to Jeddah in April 213 Aeroflot 211.3% increase in passenger activity Additional 2 weekly departures to Moscow effective June 213 Lufthansa 7.6% increase in passenger activity COPA 36.6% passenger growth Increased service to Panama City from 7 weekly departures to 14 in December 212 United Airlines, including its regional affiliates, had the largest commercial passenger market share of 64.5%, a decline compared to 67.6% in October 212. Cargo Activity Total cargo (mail and freight) activity increased to 22.7K metric tonnes (3.% increase compared to October 212). cargo declined 11.5%. Cargo activity for Dulles s largest domestic cargo carrier, FedEx, declined 1.2% due to reductions in inbound freight (FedEx activity at BWI declined 6.4%). Moreover, domestic cargo on United declined 26.5% as United has shifted to narrow-body aircraft. cargo increased 12.8% as increases in Lufthansa of 29.9% and new carriers such as Etihad, Emirates, and Brussels Airlines outpaced a decline in international cargo activity by United. Baltimore-Washington Airport Current month commercial passenger activity vs. October 212 increased 3.2%. BWI commercial passenger traffic of 1.9M surpassed Dulles by 82.5K passengers (4.5%) and National by 177.8K passengers (1.2%). passenger volume increased 6.2% to 67.2K. Southwest had the largest passenger market share with 7.%, and passenger activity increased 2.4% from October 212. Cargo activity totaled 9.5K metric tonnes, a.7% decline from a year earlier. 2
