Upon arrival, it was learned a female subject who entered the store and stole several items had fled the scene and was being chased by an employee. Deputies were able to locate the subject. A search found her to be in possession of the stolen items and a controlled substance. A citizen s arrest form was completed by the employee and the female was transported and booked into the SMC Jail. Deputies were dispatched to a welfare check. Deputies were advised an intoxicated male was standing near a vehicle playing music loudly. Upon contact, it was determined the subject was heavily intoxicated and unable to care for himself.
