Upon arrival a private car will take you directly to a beautiful 4-star hotel in the heart of the city, Danubius Hotel Gellert. You will meet the rest of the group at 6:30 PM in the hotel restaurant for a welcome dinner. Saturday, June 1 Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, Budapest was formed in 1873 when the independent cities of Buda and Pest officially merged and became one. Your tour of Budapest begins with a visit to the vibrant and colorful Great Market Hall. Your tour through this extensive World Heritage Site features visits to the historic Buda Castle, Fisherman s Bastion and the beautifully colorful Matthias Church. You'll then finish the day with a panoramic tour of the Royal Palace, St. Stephen s Basilica and the Heroes Square. You're then back at the hotel for a rich Hungarian dinner together. Mass: Matthias Church, Budapest Sunday, June 2 After morning Mass and a tour of St. Stephen's Basilica you will have a free day to explore Budapest on your own. You'll then meet the group at 5:00 PM and depart by private coach for your beautiful riverboat, the AmaCerto. Tonight you will meet your fellow passengers as the ship cruises into Slovakia and towards Bratislava. Mass: St Stephen's Basilica Monday, June 3 In the morning we arrive in Bratislava where we'll embark on a walking tour of the city. This tour brings Bratislava s history to life. You ll see all the major sights, including the Old Town Hall, the stunning Rococo-style Mirbach Palace and St. Martin s Cathedral. This evening, enjoy wine and live music at a traditional Austrian Heuriger (wine tavern). These rustic taverns offer house-brewed vintages fresh off the vine and a cozy, unhurried atmosphere. This fun and festive night is all about what the Austrians call Gemütlichkeit an all- encompassing sense of belonging, acceptance and cheerfulness. Mass: St. Martin's Cathedral Tuesday, June 4 Today the AmaCerto docks in one of Europe's greatest marvels: Vienna. Savor the imperial elegance of romantic Vienna during today s guided sightseeing tour which will take you past the city s most famous and beautiful locales. You will see the Vienna Opera House, St. Stephen s Cathedral, and the city s historic center, rich in architectural marvels, Baroque castles and lush gardens. The afternoon is free to stroll along the Kartnerstrasse, the most prestigious shopping street in central Vienna, or sample Vienna's famous pastries.

Mass: St. Stephen's Cathedral Atlantic Ocean Wednesday, June 5 Mediterranean Sea This morning our boat pulls into the charming town of Dürnstein. Situated in the heart of the magnificent Wachau Valley, on the banks of the Danube river, Dürnstein offers a unique combination of breath-taking scenery, traditional architecture, and places of historic interest. Your morning walking tour through the medieval cobblestone streets reveals 16th century town houses and wine taverns. Marvel at the luminous blue facade of the Baroque Stiftskirche, Dürnstein s famed church cloister tower, considered the most beautiful of its kind in all of Austria. High above town, you ll spot the ruins of the castle where Richard the Lionheart, King of England, was imprisoned in 1192. Finish your daywith a wine tasting hosted by a local vintner. Mass: Durnstein Abbey Thursday, June 6 After docking in Linz private motorcoaches will take you directly to Salzburg, an utterly charming Austrian town. First, however, you will stop first at the scenic lakeside town of Mondsee, famous as the site of the wedding church from the movie The Sound of Music. Once in Salzburg, you will tour the Cathedral where you will also have Mass. You'll then embark on a walking tour of the city featuring a visit to the beautifully landscaped Mirabell Gardens, the Getreidegasse with its many decorative wrought iron guild signs, Residenz Square, and the Old Market. This afternoon you will rejoin the ship now docked in Passau. Passau is also known as the Dreiflüssestadt or "City of Three Rivers," because the Danube, Inn and Ilz rivers all converge here. The town has many notable Baroque buildings and cobblestone streets, especially in the Old Town area. Here you will see the city fortifications and St. Stephan s Cathedral, home to one of the largest church pipe organs in the world (with 17,774 pipes and 233 registers!). Mass: Salzburg Cathedral Friday, June 7 Today we will explore one of Germany's most beautiful cities: Regensburg. The history, sights and landmarks of Regensburg are so densely packed that they are best discovered on foot. Throughout the centuries, patricians and priests, saints and sinners, citizens and craftsmen have left their mark on Regensburg's colorful history. You will hear vivid stories about the people of Regensburg throughout the ages, seeing the Old Town Hall and the Porta Praetoria. The old Stone Bridge, considered a masterwork of medieval construction and an emblem of the city is perfectly located next to one of the oldest restaurants in the world, the Regensburg Sausage Kitchen, notable for its role in catering for the workers who built the bridge. We're then back on the boat for an evening dinner Al Fresco. Mass: Regensburg Cathedral Saturday, June 8 Today you will enjoy a scenic morning cruise as the ship crosses the Continental Divide via the Main Danube Canal to Nuremberg. We will the bid farewell to the AmaCerto and board a private bus that will take us directly to our four-star hotel in the heart of Nuremberg. After freshening up we will explore the medieval city center with a tour that showcases the Imperial Castle and the famous town wall, as well as Albrecht Dürer s home and Market Square with its legendary fountain. We will then enjoy a final farewell dinner together. Mass: Church of our Lady Sunday, June 9 Today a private driver will take you directly to the airport where you will depart for the United States.
