Trails Forever Dinner WHAT: For 16 Years the annual Trails Forever Dinner has been the only event of its kind. A seated dinner in a spectacular National Park setting is preceded by trail-side cocktails and delicious hors d oeuvre. The evening features casual attire and an exciting live auction of exclusive park experiences you can t find anywhere else. Allison Eisenhardt, Charlotte Hass Prime and Amy Metzler Ritter have teamed up to Co-Chair this year s spectacular evening in San Francisco s front yard, Crissy Field. Last year the Trails Forever Dinner raised $1.67 million in support of the Parks Conservancy s Trails Forever Initiative, that re-envisions landscapes, funds new trails, restores natural habitats, and bring the community to our National Parks. Trails Forever Initiative» The Trails Forever initiative celebrates over 16 years of work in the Golden Gate National Parks, with staff and volunteers from the three partner agencies National Park Service, Parks Conservancy and Presidio Trust to create access and protect the many resources in this amazing park.» This Team has built and maintained 125 miles of trail, restored over 1,000 acres of habitat, protected historic batteries, created 8 new overlooks and grown a dedicated audience of support through many memorable dinners.» Through volunteerism and community partnerships, the Trails Forever initiative engages the community in building and maintaining a world class trail system and other key projects and programs of the Parks Conservancy.
