Smart avionics for your Beechcraft Premier II flight deck Representing the ultimate balance of performance, reliability and flexibility, the Beechcraft Premier II vividly demonstrates that business and pleasure in air travel need not be mutually exclusive. From its inception, the Beechcraft Premier II was designed to be a true single-pilot jet with a truly advanced flight deck that would evolve as airspace requirements and technologies change. Our Pro Line 21 avionics system enhances your situational awareness while reducing pilot workload. The superior graphics capabilities on our displays enable information to be presented in innovative yet familiar formats, providing quick, accurate interpretation. Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 for the Beechcraft Premier II includes an advanced flight control system featuring a fail-passive autopilot. The Rockwell Collins AHS-3000 Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) incorporates a digital quartz gyro that significantly reduces system size while increasing accuracy and reliability. Similarly, the system includes the advanced Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 communication, navigation and surveillance (CNS) sensor package, that is half the size of previous sensors. The system also features a Maintenance Diagnostic Computer (MDC) that provides access to status of major aircraft systems including LRU status, fault history and diagnostic data. The MDC also provides checklist functions including normal, abnormal and emergency checklists.

An integrated approach to flight deck efficiency Flight information that keeps pilots a step ahead With Pro Line 21 and IFIS you have enhanced situational awareness tools that enable you to make informed decisions. Electronic charts with ownship position during approach and taxi, enhanced map overlays and optional graphical weather are all available at a moment s notice. Now, information that would otherwise only be shown on multiple sources or even in printed books is intuitively presented on your aircraft s large active matrix liquid crystal MFDs. Chartlink, a patented Rockwell Collins feature, reduces pilot workload by integrating the flight management system (FMS) and electronic charts to automatically sequence relevant charts for the flight plan. Enhanced map overlays Enhanced map overlays simplify routine tasks, such as establishing visual contact with the airport, by displaying aircraft position relative to water features and geopolitical boundaries on the MFD map. High- and lowaltitude airway overlays eliminate the need to continually refer to paper charts; in response to Air Traffic Control changes, you can locate new airway assignments faster and easier than ever before. With enhanced map overlays, you also know your aircraft s exact position as it relates to restricted airspace and have the information needed to make informed decisions when flight plan deviations may be necessary due to weather or traffic. Graphical weather (optional) Pilots have a powerful new tool to help them make more strategic decisions about their flight plans. By combining optional strategic weather information provided by IFIS with the baseline airborne weather radar, you can look at the big weather picture prior to each flight and during the flight as weather develops. As a result, you can choose the most comfortable and efficient flight path around hazardous weather. XM satellite broadcast weather as well as interactive request/reply weather are available. Electronic charting IFIS replaces heavy and bulky printed charts with large-format, high-resolution electronic charts. Now, critical departure, arrival, approach and airport information is instantly available to the flight crew. Peace of mind on the airport surface is enhanced with a clear, easy-to-interpret display of all runways and taxiways.
Advanced flight management made simple Teamed with the Rockwell Collins GPS-4000S Space Based Augmentation System (SBAS)- enabled GPS receiver the FMS-3000 synchronizes operation of all lateral and vertical flight plans, supports time/fuel planning and automatically flies en route, terminal and approach procedures (as well as providing missed-approach guidance), while offering graphical map and electronic chart support, automatic FMS-to-ILS transfers and steering/pitch commands to the autopilot. Full profile, coupled or advisory VNAV capability offers complete lateral and vertical navigation programming and automation for all phases of flight. This VNAV tracking capability helps ensure that altitude and speed constraints are met at waypoints or step-down fixes, speed limits at altitudes are honored, and the vertical flight profile specified by the pilot is followed precisely. The FMS-3000 s performance functions enable automatic calculation of vital takeoff and landing performance parameters including Vspeeds, weight limits and runway length requirements based on the aircraft s flight manual parameters. Together, these features help streamline and simplify the flight deck. WAAS LPV approach capability With the FMS-3000 on your Beechcraft Premier II, you have increased flexibility to land more places, more often by flying RNAV approaches using the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) and localizer performance with vertical guidance (LPV). These approaches utilize the increased availability and integrity of GPS navigation, made possible by WAAS, to provide vertically-guided approaches to minimums as low as 200 feet and ½ mile visibility. The FMS and GPS are designed for compatibility with the Space Based Augmentation Systems that are being developed in compliance with RTCA DO-229. In addition to the United States WAAS system, examples of systems being developed in compliance with RTCA DO-229 include EGNOS in Europe and MSAS in Japan. Simplified database management The DBU-5000 is a USB-based database unit capable of loading both the FMS and the optional IFIS, as well as downloads from the Maintenance Diagnostic System.
Enhance your Beechcraft Premier II even more Options available XM Broadcast Graphical Weather (Continental U.S.) The broadcast graphical weather system provides the capability to display U.S. graphical and textual weather information on the MFD(s). Second FMS Installation of a second FMS-3000 provides the redundancy and reliability required for enhanced dispatch capability. The second system enhances crew resource management by allowing independent operation by each crew member. For convenience it may also be synchronized with the pilot-side FMS. Turbulence-detection Weather Radar The Rockwell Collins TWR-850 Turbulence-detection Weather Radar detects weather at ranges up to 300 n.m. and precipitationrelated turbulence at ranges up to 50 n.m. This gives flight crews the information they need to select the smoothest, most efficient routes. Our TWR-850 s solid-state design provides significant improvements over magnetron-based systems in performance and reliability. Second DME Our DME-4000 Distance Measuring Equipment receiver/transmitter provides complete DME information from three ground stations simultaneously. A second DME provides redundancy and the ability to cross-check navigational information. It also provides additional information for the FMS to use in calculating aircraft position.
