PO Itinerary & stopovers Day 1 : Friday Boarding at the Port of Montréal After sailing past Old Montréal, you will see, in turn, Notre-Dame and Sainte-Hélène islands, the beautiful Berthier-Sorel achipelago, Trois-Rivières, the Basilica of Notre-Dame-du-Cap, Québec City and its impressive night lights around midnight. Day 2 : Saturday Cruising on the St. Lawrence River and along the Gaspé coast You will sail from Tadoussac on the north shore of the river toward the south bank for a good view of the Gaspé coastline. The impressive windmill park, which stretches all the way to Cap-Chat, will then come into view, followed by the rugged hills of Sainte- Anne-des-Monts, the Chics-Chocs Mountains, Forillon Park and the Bay of Gaspé. Days 3, 4 and 5 : Sunday, Monday and Tuesday Stay-over on the Îles de la Madeleine After breakfast aboard the CTMA Vacancier, you can enjoy one of our packages*, or you will be invited to hit the road to explore the many pathways and treasures of the archipelago at your own pace. *Take advantage of packages or guided tours to explore the wonders of the Islands ($). Day 6 : Wednesday Stopover in Gaspésie In the morning, take in the unique beauty of Gaspé Bay. The ship will then dock at the port of Gaspé for a stopover*. During these few hours you ll be able to explore the area or take advantage of an outing to Percé Rock. In the evening, you ll be treated to a beautiful sunset along the Gaspé shoreline. *Take advantage of guided tours to explore Gaspésie ($). Day 7 : Thursday Sailing along the north shore of the St. Lawrence River This day spent sailing down the river offers you a special vantage point from which to discover Québec s shoreline. You might be able to spot whales near Tadoussac, and you ll enjoy beautiful views of Charlevoix, Côte-de-Beaupré, l Île d Orléans and Montmorency Falls not to mention the breathtaking sight of Québec City and the Château Frontenac. Day 8 : Friday Return to Montréal After an unforgettable week, the ship will dock at the port of Montréal in the morning. You will have breakfast before you leave the ship. Special itinerary!
