FROM BRUCE At JH Ranch, we often talk about what we call The Everlasting Adventure. It s the adventure you re about to embark upon this summer, and I think you ll find that it s unlike anything you ve ever experienced. 9 The journey actually started with a dream my dad, Gene Johnston, and I had many years ago to create an undistracted environment where people could stop and evaluate their life a place where they would find not just inspiration, but also application. That s what you ll find this summer true, action-packed adventure where you can learn life principles that you will build on in years to come. So come ready for incredible fun, ready to jump in as we pursue the Everlasting Adventure. We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve and host you this summer at JH Ranch. We look forward to seeing you soon! Bruce and Heather Johnston President of JH Ranch and Director of JH Israel President and Founder of JH Ranch Are youready to start your adventure? 2

Most of our guests fly into Sacramento (SMF), San Francisco (SFO), Redding (RDD), or Medford, OR (MFR) any of these airports will work and then rent a car to drive the rest of the way to the Ranch. You ll be using your rental or personal vehicle for various activities throughout your week at the Ranch, so make sure it s available to you for the entire week of your stay. For guests who wish to use a travel agent to arrange their transportation, Travel Designers in Birmingham, AL (205-251-7666) is familiar with our program needs. Note that we cannot guarantee their rates to be the lowest available. If you are booking your own flights, we generally recommend Southwest Airlines. While Traveling Driving Distances (EXPECT TRAVEL DELAYS) Please keep JH Ranch s phone number with you as you travel so you may notify us of any travel delays, allowing us to plan for your late arrival: (800) 242-1224 TRANSPORTATION 6

We guarantee you ll appreciate this rare opportunity to disconnect! Bookstore We have a Bookstore with clothing, books, CDs, and more, so you may want to leave a little extra space in your bag. Snacks and Coffee We wouldn t be telling you the whole truth if we didn t tell you that we have a delicious Snack Bar and Coffee Bar on the property. Stay Warm! Every year, our Bookstore sells a lot of sweatshirts to guests who don t bring warm enough clothing. Even though it s hot and dry during the day, it can get very cold in the evenings, so bring warm layers! RANCH TIPS Cameras Bring a camera! Some guests wish to use their smartphone as their camera. We understand the convenience, but we don t recommend it. Just keep in mind that you re responsible for keeping up with your things and for any damage they might incur during the week. 8
