Chapel Hill Baptist Church Summer Day Camp 2017 Dear Parents and Campers, It s that time again! Summer camp is just around the corner. We have an exciting summer planned for your child. At Chapel Hill we strive to give your child an enjoyable summer while teaching them biblical life skills. We will be starting camp on May 30th this year. We are SUPER excited about Mr. Ryan Greene and Ms. Olivia Fletcher back as our Summer Camp Directors. Ryan has been working for CHBC Summer camp the past 7 years and Olivia has been for the past 5 years. We know they will continue to do a great job as Directors. Each morning we begin with announcements followed by 30 minutes of praise and worship and 30 minutes of bible study. Your child will be placed in one of three groups according to age. They will stay with this group throughout the day. We will have different activities planned for each day of the week with our field trips on Wednesday s and Friday s. Due to our transportation limitations we will only be able to enroll 75-80 full time campers. A full time camper is committed to the entire summer with the exception of one week for vacation. We will also take drop-ins. Drop-ins may only attend camp on the days we stay in house. For more information feel free to come by the church office or call 339-4026. Important Information Enrollment: We will be limiting our enrollment to 75-80 full-time campers. Time: 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. (After 6:00 P.M. there will be a $5.00 fee for every 5 min.) It is important that all children are in the gym by 8:20 so we can take roll and ensure your child s safety. First Day of Camp: The first day of camp will be May 30th. Tuition: $90.00 a week for the first child, $85.00 a week for every additional child. Tuition is due on the Friday before services are rendered. Tuition includes morning snack, transportation and admissions on most all field trip. If you fall more than 1 week behind in tuition your child will not be allowed to stay until tuition is paid in full. Tuition for the total summer is $870 for the first child and $825 for each additional child not including a vacation week. Registration Fee: $100.00 per camper for both full time and drop-in campers. This fee includes a single color travel T-shirt, bible study materials and initial camp supplies. Registration fee and first weeks tuition must be paid upon registration. Registration begins March 5th for CHBC church members and returning campers and March 12th for new campers. Register early spots will fill up fast. Travel Fee: There is a one time $30 travel fee. This fee is also due at time of registration to offset the cost of field trips and fuel. Drop-Ins: Tuition for drop-ins is $30.00 per day. Drop ins are only allowed on indicated in house days typically Monday and Thursdays. If your child is planning on attending as a drop in registration is still required. It is important that we know when you are coming so we can plan accordingly. Counselors: Our camp counselors are all Christians, 18 years or older, with experience working with children. They have been interviewed and screened for your child s protection Clothing: Shorts and T-shirts, socks and sneakers should be worn daily. Due to our active schedule, sandals, crocs and flip-flops may not be worn. Age: Children who have completed kindergarten through 5th grade. Snacks: A healthy morning snack will be provided by the camp. The campers may bring their own afternoon snack or they may purchase a snack at the snack bar each afternoon. Lunch: Campers need to provide their lunch each day. They may NOT bring items that need to be heated. Each Monday we will have Pizza day. Pizza will be available for $1.00 per slice. Orders will be taken after morning announcements. Thursday s will also be an opportunity for you to order lunch. Thursday menu and pricing information will be available at open house.
