The Challenge In the past, when someone needed to send a fax, RightFax would actually pause until the mass fax job was done. Along with that, we were looking to get away from the amount of paper used. Was using an outdated fax server software product to send 500-1,000 faxes once a week, over four analog lines The connector between RightFax and company s CRM system was no longer supported Led to backups for up to 6 hours with no way to monitor queues Amount of paper being used did not reflect the company s sustainability and environmental goals 5
The Solution Getting Esker Fax up and running was as smooth as anyone could have hoped for. Leveraged Esker s rules-based document process automation using intelligent data capture and other capabilities Didn t need telco lines to handle its mass fax blasts with Esker overflow capabilities; once the queue reaches its limit, any additional faxes are automatically sent using Esker on Demand Users can now mark the priority of their document from the Esker Fax Document Manager 6
Results Time savings reduced fax queue time from six hours to 20 minutes With the Esker solution, we ve seen an increase in productivity because of the simplicity of faxing. We see Esker Fax as the gateway to go further with our paperless solutions. Future Plans Plan to enhance Esker Fax integration automatic updates so that users can see directly in the CRM package that the faxes were sent Will leverage rules-based automation technology with Esker DeliveryWare to help integrate the different software packages being used 8
