CHINNOR RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB LTD Affiliated to the Rugby Football Union and Oxfordshire Rugby Football Union The Clubhouse, Kingsey Road, Thame, Oxfordshire OX9 3JL T: 01844 213735 e-mail: clubhouse@chinnor-rfc.com Website: www.chinnor-rfc.com Earlier this year we consulted widely on plans for alterations to the existing changing rooms and the entrance to the clubhouse. We have now considered the responses from the membership and also from the RFU facilities team. This review has prompted us to consider more widely the facilities required within the clubhouse to support the future growth of the Club. We have now completed this process and I am delighted to share the Board of Directors and Management Committees Future Vision of the clubhouse with you. The aims behind the proposed 5 year Vision are: Expanding the function facilities to cater for the growth in Match Day Functions and Special Events, so that the Club is sustainable over the long-term. Improving the facilities in order to better serve the current members and players within the Club. Increasing the facilities available in order to allow for the future growth of the Club as the population of Thame and the surrounding area expands. You will notice from the attached draft plans that the improvements have been broken down into packages, so that the Club is able to phase the improvements in manageable financial parcels. Work Packages The proposed alterations and extensions to the clubhouse split into four identifiable work packages (A-D), as follows: A: Ground Floor alterations to existing changing rooms First Floor alterations to and extension of the Viewing Terrace These works will incorporate an improvement to the existing Medical Room; new doors will provide direct access to the side of the pitch. B: Ground Floor Extension to form new office, shop/store and new entrance hall with full-length glazed windows First Floor extension to kitchen, WCs and new stairway C: Comprises a side extension to the east elevation of the original building Ground Floor New players changing rooms x2, officials changing room, store rooms and servery First Floor extension to Members Bar and viewing terrace. Re-siting of external emergency exit stairs This work package includes the construction of two RFU-compliant players changing rooms with associated en suite shower and WC facilities. The servery will replace the metal storage container adjacent to the building which is currently used for this purpose. D: Spectator grandstand (204 seats, adjacent to the clubhouse) This will include an area for two DDA seats President: Simon Vickers president@chinnor-rfc.com Chairman: Paul Fincken chairman@chinnor-rfc.com Secretary: Alex Bond execsecretary@chinnor-rfc.com Finance: Richard Hall treasurer@chinnor-rfc.com Facilities: facilities@chinnor-rfc.com Commercial: Jerry Austen-Smith marketing@chinnor-rfc.com A company registered in England and Wales with Company number 7520174 Registered Office: Kingsey Road, Thame, Oxfordshire 0X93JL

Planning Application Once Planning Consent is in place we have a deliverable project or series of projects and this will increase our chances of obtaining grant funding. Fund Raising The Club will need to prepare a detailed business plan for each of the projects or series of projects and this will highlight the Match Funding that the Club will need to raise to support the project(s). Please note that the internal layouts shown on the drawings are still draft and will be the subject of further discussion within the Club. The plans provide the Club with a range of options to expand and grow. At this stage we felt it was important to retain flexibility so that final plans can be tailored to potential changes in the Club s growth/need. I would like to thank everyone who has participated in the consultation so far, particularly Alex Bond and Robert Jones who have been heavily involved with working up the feasibility plans. We would welcome your comments ahead of our Planning Application which we hope to submit in August/September 2013.
