Road Closures On Street Parking Cleansing Emergency and Local Access Personal Drives
Road Closures The Route will be closed to non-race traffic Anticipated closures have changed, now approximately 11 Hours, but may be subject to change Midhopestones to High Bradfield 7:30am 6:30pm High Bradfield to A61 Penistone Road (Grenoside) 7:30am 6:30pm A61 Penistone Road (Grenoside) to Barrow Road / Meadowhall Road 9am 7pm A61 Penistone Road North (Leppings Lane roundabout ) to A61 Penistone Road (Grenoside) 11am 7pm Jenkin Road from Tyler Street to Newman Road 7:30am 7pm Meadowhall Road between Meadowhall Way 9am 7pm Meadowhall Way to Motorpoint Arena 11am 7pm
On Street Parking No parking on the Race route Intention to keep adjacent roads available for parking, Le Tour Makers and Stewards will assist Limited on street parking, particularly from Midhopestones to Grenoside Lots of on street parking from Grenoside to the Race finish area Period after the race has passed before the roads are reopened Please be patient, if you are near a Spectator Hub see what s going on Advice is: to plan, get there early, be prepared to walk a short distance, delay your journey home to avoid delays

Journey Planner is live with public transport information for Sunday 6 th July. Use it to plan in advance. The key message to users of public transport are: Use journey planner and other SYPTE information points to plan your journey Plan for longer journey times Plan for a longer walk to stops in areas around the route Arrive early for the event
Supertram to operate an enhanced service providing a frequent link to the lower Don Valley and Meadowhall area. Yellow (Middlewood to Meadowhall via city centre) to operate every 8 minutes. Blue special (Halfway to Meadowhall via city centre) to operate every 16 minutes. Purple special (Herdings to Malin Bridge via city centre) to operate every 30 minutes. Additional trams to be deployed post event as required around Meadowhall/Don Valley.
Tram feeder services from Malin Bridge and Middlewood tram termini to Low Bradfield and Oughtibridge. c.10,000 parking spaces in the city centre to then use the tram and tram feeder services.
Enhanced Rail services between South Yorkshire Stations and Meadowhall & Penistone. No bus link north of the race route to the city centre between 1300 and 1600. Local bus services will continue to operate in all areas where possible. Direct Link to the Northern General from the city centre is lost. Travel via Chapeltown Rail Station. Journey time of approximately 40 minutes from the city centre to the Northern General.
Penistone area buses will operate as normal between Barnsley and Penistone. No services will operate beyond Barnsley to Holmfirth, Dunford Bridge, Millhouse Green, Flouch or Crow Edge. Bradfield area service 61/62 will not operate until the 1850 trip from Hillsborough. A Malin Bridge to Low Bradfield service will be provided throughout the day. Worrall service 57 will operate via Worrall until the 0726 towards Hillsborough. No service will be provided after this until 1900. Oughtibridge and Stocksbridge services will operate until approx. 1300 and resume at approximately 1600.
Grenoside to Wincobank service disruption between 0730 and 1800 with further closures from 0900. Meadowhall Interchange and Shopping centre. Bus service enhancements will be provided between Rotherham and Meadowhall. There will be no bus link between Sheffield and Meadowhall. Passengers should use the enhanced tram service. The nearest bus from Sheffield will be service 69 at Sheffield Road (Tinsley).
Train services are expected to be busy due to the Tour de France, passengers are advised not to travel with cycles to avoid possible delays. Cycles are not permitted on South Yorkshire bus or tram services.
