In just one month, we will begin the celebration of this historic pairing of our 2 zones on the beautiful shores of Lake Erie, Pennsylvania. We are planning on more than 500 Rotarians and guests to attend, but we have room for more and it is still not too late to register, so please sign up today! Whether you are a past, present, or future club or district leader, or partner, please join us for CelebrationZone in Erie! The Institute is the result of much hard work by Chair Jim Eberly and his Institute Planning Committee, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Jim and his leadership team for hosting what will be a very extraordinary Rotary experience! So, if you have not yet made plans to join us, then do so today! We look forward to seeing you in Erie to celebrate together, and to Be the Inspiration for Rotary! Warmest regards, With warmest regards, Robert C Knuepfer, Jr. Rotary International Director 2017-19

Finishing Touches We are putting the finishing touches on Celebration Zone. The Celebration Zone team has worked incredibly hard to put together Leadership Summit that is going to send Zones 28 and 29 out with a bang. It is going to be FUN. And, just to make certain you don t miss out on anything here are some things to keep in mind: District Videos 60 seconds to tell everyone about your District. What makes your district special? What is the project that you are proud of? This is your chance to show that you are Rotary s Best District. Videos are due by September 10. Hotel reservations need to be made by September 10. Both the Courtyard and the Sheraton are connected to the Bayfront Convention Center. Thursday Night Reunion Dinners. So far over 260 folks are going to these very relaxed, social gatherings. Whether you are a past governor or not, this is a great time. Register by September 10. Super Hero Night - Friday Night. What is a Super Hero? Is it Iron Man or a Fireman or You define SuperHero anyway you want, but come dressed in your Super Hero attire and have a blast. The evening ends with dancing to a live band, Déjà Vu. The Final Details Dress Code: Saturday Night business (coat and tie) Friday Night Super Hero All other times business casual House of Friendship Friday 7:30am 6pm and Saturday 7:30am 4pm If you are interested in having a table to present your project please contact Tamie Koop (tkoop@wi.rr.com) The sign up deadline is September 10. We have a very limited number of Celebration Zone Jack Daniels Single Barrel Whisky bottles for sale. And we are going to auction off the Barrel itself, the commemorative Barrel end and the 1st and Last bottle. More details on that are below. Jen Bricker will have a book signing after her speech on Saturday and all proceeds will go to End Polio Now.

Be a part of Rotary History! Saturday night will include a live charity auction with proceeds benefiting the making of history as we End Polio Now. Included will be the barrel, a commemorative JD pouring decanter set, a collector barrel end and # 1 of 270 and 270 of 270 personally signed by John Germ and several other past Rotary presidents.
