Registration When you started Easyfit for the first time, you will see this box. You are allowed to use the software for 10 days. To unlock Easyfit for permanent use, you will need an activation code. Follow the instructions in this screen to get an activation code. Or you can continue using the software by clicking on Try out, until the trial period has expired.
Preparation To prepare a connection between a topographer software and Easyfit, you will first need to click on Settings in the upper right corner of the screen. Then choose for the tab Topographer and select the topographer software you want to connect with (in this example the Keratron). Then click on Ok. When the connection was successful, you will see a new button in the Easyfit main screen with the name of the topographer software(in this example the Keratron).
Import data from Keratron Follow this instruction to send data from the Keratron software to Easyfit. Start by clicking in Easyfit on the Keratron button. Now select a patient, and select a set of exams of the patients. Make sure you mark the line blue that has this icon:. That allows you to import right/left exams at the same time. Next, click on the Easyfit icon.
The OD and OS exams are now transferred to Easyfit. A special case is when the set of exams you selected contains multiple right / left eye exams. For example this case below:
If you now click on the Easyfit button the screen:, you will see a popup window in the lower-right corner of Here you can select which exam you want to import. After you selected it, you can click Import in Easyfit to finalize the import action.
Import data from Tomey (TMS-4) Follow this instruction to send data from the Tomey software to Easyfit. Start by clicking in Easyfit on the Tomey button. Now select a patient by standing on a random name and start by ginving in the name. Double click on a exam. The exam opens.
The following pop up appears. Close the exam and open the other exam. The following pop up appears Click on Import in Easyfit and the OD and OS exam are now transferred to Easyfit.
Import data from Medmont (3, 5, 6) Follow this instruction to send data from the Medmont software to Easyfit. Start by clicking in Easyfit on the Medmont button. Select a patient by giving in the name. Select a set of exams of the patient. For importing the exams in Easyfit for the Medmont 3, click on Koppelingen > easyfit lensberekening. For importing the exams in Easyfit for the Medmond 6 click on Easyfit lensberekening.
The OD and OS exams are now transferred to Easyfit.
Import data from Oculus Easygraph This chapter applies to Oculus Easygraph Follow this instruction to send data from the Easygraph software to Easyfit. Start by clicking in Easyfit on the Easygraph button. Now select a patient by giving in the name of the patient. Select the right patient if there are more patient with the same last name. Select one of the exams you want to import in Easyfit and click on Easygraph.
Select one of the exams you want to import in Easyfit and click on Easygraph. The exam opens. Then click on External Software followed by Easyfit. To select the other eye exam you have to load the next exam by Examination followed by Load old examination.
Select the other exam you want to import and click on Ok.
Again select External Software followed by Easyfit. The following pop up appears. Click on Import in Easyfit. The OD and OS exams are transferred to Easyfit.
Import data from Oculus Keratograph Follow this instruction to send data from the Oculus Keratograph software to Easyfit. Start by clicking in Easyfit on the Oculus button. Now select a patient by giving in the name of the patient. Select the right patient if there are more patient with the same last name.
Select one of the exams you want to import in Easyfit and click on Keratograph. The exam opens. Then click on External Software followed by Easyfit. To select the other eye exam you have to load the next exam by Examination followed by Load old examination.
Select the other exam you want to import and click on Ok. Again select External Software followed by Easyfit. The following pop up appears. Click on Import in Easyfit. The OD and OS exams are transferred to Easyfit.
Import data from CSO/BON/Phoenix Topographers Follow this instructions to send data from the CSO/BON/Phoenix software to Easyfit. Start by clicking in Easyfit on the Phoenix button. Now select a patient by filling in the first letter(s) of the last name. Select the right name by double click on the name, the measurements will open.
Click on the right date to open the measurements. Double click on one exam to open it. Click on the right mouse button while standing on the exam you want to import. Select Evidence creation followed by Both eyes.
The following pop-up appears. Click on Ok. Cllick on the right mouse button while standing on the other exam you want to import. Select Evidence creation followed by Both eyes. The OD and OS exams are transferred to Easyfit.
Import data from Topcon Color Mapping Follow this instructions to send data from the Topcon software to Easyfit. Start by clicking in Easyfit on the Topcon button. Double click on the exams you want to import. The exam opens in the Topcon software and a pop-up which says Import in Easyfit appears.
Click on Import in Easyfit. The OD and OS exam are transferred to Easyfit.
Import data from Topcon Corneal Analyzer Follow this instruction to send data from the Topcon software to Easyfit. Choose by Settings > Topograph the Topcon CA-100 / CA-200 Start by clicking in Easyfit on the Topcon button. Now select a patient by filling in the name. Double click on the name.
Select the data of the exams you want to import. Double click on the exam you want to import. Double click Click on Contactlenzen
Then select Opties followed by Opdruk lenzen and then followed by easyfit lensberekening. Then close the exam to import the other exam.
Follow the same instructions for the other eye. Double click on the exam you want to import and click on Contactlenzen Then select Opties > Opdruk lenzen > Easyfit lens calculation. Click on Import in Easyfit. The OD and OS exams are now transferred to Easyfit.
Troubleshooting Cannot link to my topographer software. Easyfit asks me the location of the software. Note: when Easyfit could not locate the topographer software, it will ask you for the location. Please do the following. 1. Make sure that the topographer software is located on your computer 2. If so, check in which folder the topographer software is located. You can find this folder name by right-clicking on the topographer icon that is on the desktop. Then select Properties. Within the Shortcut-tab, the target location is incorporated.
