Husen worked in the Rouge Division of Ford Motor Company, first as Accounting Manager in 1946 then as Resident Controller in 1948. His records include financial summaries for plants and other ventures, such as the Henry Ford Trade School and Fordson Coal Company. Also included are a number of training and stock manuals. BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE O. H. Husen worked as secretary to W. E. Carnegie when he left to head the Ford Motor Company Accounting Department. In 1946 Husen was named Accounting Manager for the Rouge Automotive Manufacturing Operations, and in 1948 he was appointed Resident Controller for the Rouge Division. SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE The records are comprised of five volumes of financial summaries, systems, surveys and statistics for numerous Ford Motor Company plants, subsidiaries, and other ventures. Examples include Henry Ford Trade School, mines, Fordson Coal Company, airport operations, marine operations, and some employee statistics. There are also several stock manuals and accounting training manuals. ARRANGEMENT Collection is organized chronologically.
