You have a PRIVATE heated pool with a solar heated pool shower nestled in its own secure 2 1/2 acres secluded garden, safe for children to play. The extensive grounds are lovingly maintained to create an atmosphere of peace & tranquility in a well appointed area of central Brittany. Owners do not live on site but are close by to welcome you on arrival and are happy to help you to ensure you have a wonderful holiday. A SUBSTANTIAL Welcome Hamper is freshly prepared for you to settle in and unwind. The very best care and attention to detail is maintained at all times. A well equipped modern kitchen opens into a dining area and second comfy living area with tv and granite fireplace. A door in the living area leads through to a separate annex/utility room with access via a spiral staircase to a double bedroom (1 of 3 double bedrooms in the cottage). A downstairs wc with wash hand basin also leads off the dining room. The main lounge is particularly large - 40ft! (an ideal space for all the family to relax in together). This stunning
room has a vaulted ceiling featuring lovely beams creating the air of a manor house 'great hall' with a granite fireplace and a wood burning stove, a large flat screen tv and many comfy sofas to relax in. Open stairs lead up to a mezzanine area. Two double bedrooms (one with en suite facilities) lead off the mezzanine corridor. There is a separate wc and wash basin, in addition to a family bathroom at the end of the corridor. The second bedroom is presented as a twin with 2 single beds, a child's bed guard and room for a cot if required. KITCHEN & DINING The modern kitchen is well equipped with a host of appliances (e.g. electric double oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, American style fridge-freezer with chilled water and ice dispenser, toaster, kettle, coffee-machine, food blender, electric whisk etc.) A plentiful supply of crockery and tableware make catering a pleasure, with no shortage of cutlery and glassware to compliment. The open plan dining area has a large oak 'country kitchen' table and 6 dining chairs. A cosy living area with comfy sofas, club chairs and a 40" flat screen TV and MP3 player, and wood stove gives a second living space for all to relax and chat. The utility room has a washing machine, washing basket and peg basket, vacuum cleaner, broom etc., ironing board and iron. Laundry soap, conditioner and essential cleaning products, toilet paper, kitchen roll and tissues are available to you free of charge. LIVING ROOMS The lounge is super large with a vaulted roof with many windows to maintain a light and airy space. A choice of comfy sofas and chairs provide ample space for all the family to relax together. A mixture of contemporary and country style furniture tastefully complete the look of this spacious room. Entertainment consists of a large 55" TV (English channels only), dvd player (with Wii Games), broadband wi-fi internet connection, music system, books and a selection of indoor boardgames. Plus, at the far end of the room there is a pool table for your enjoyment. BEDROOMS In the main part of the house there are 2 sizeable double bedrooms. The master double bedroom offers a king size bed/luxurious TEMPUR mattress (not topper), bedside cabinet with lamps and chest of drawers. En-suite facilities with shower, wash hand basin and airier (a separate wc and wash hand basin leading off the landing next to the bedroom). Wardrobe is located on the landing allowing plenty of hanging space for your summer clothes. The second double bedroom is presented as a twin room with two single beds, (infant bedside protector & a cot is available.) Bedside cabinet with lamps and chest of drawers. In the annexe part of the cottage (which leads off from the kitchen dining room) there are spiral stairs leading up to a 3rd double bedroom. This bedroom is not suitable for young children, ideal for a teenager to escape to. This room has a double bed, bedside cabinets with lamps, wardrobe. BATHROOMS In addition to the Master en suite facilities there is a family bathroom. This has a bath (with shower over) and a 'his & hers' double wash hand basin and wc, airier and heated towel rail. There is also a separate wc and wash hand basin on this floor, as well as on the ground floor. We supply quality towel sets comprising of Bath sheet, Hand towel & Face cloth plus comfortable bath robes.
Something you will not have to think about - toilet paper is provided for your duration of visit, soap, Sanytol Hygiene Gel for after care wash, & hand towels. HEATING The cottage has two wood burning stoves (in the kitchen/dining room and in the lounge). Electric heaters are available but not normally required. There may be a charge for this facility, please speak with the owner. All the usual children outdoor games are available: badminton, boules, darts, swings, slide, table football, table tennis etc. There is also an open barn area where the children can play in inclement weather (also a great area for teenagers to escape and 'hang out'). Plenty of garden furniture and loungers to relax in by the pool & soak up the peace & quiet in a rural setting with wonderful views of the countryside. There is also gas bbq with tools & (full gas bottle provided for your convenience). PARKING Ample space in the secure courtyard for off road parking at the property.
