VIC FALLS/WHOLE OF NAMIBIA IN 28 DAYS DAY 1: You will be picked up at Victoria Falls International airport in Zimbabwe and transferred to Elephant Camp that is situated 15 km from the airport on a private concession within the Victoria Falls National Park. The camp has breathtaking views of the Victoria Falls spray and the spectacular gorges which separate Zimbabwe and Zambia. You will take it easy and just relax the first night and soak up nature. DAY 3: Do an early morning lion encounter and enjoy a full English breakfast on this safari. Return to camp and have a massage in the afternoon in the privacy of your own suite. DAY 8: Leave after breakfast to the Bushman village about 86 km from camp. Make sure to pack a lunchbox. Spend the day and learn from the Bushmen. Overnight at Roy s camp again. Accommodation: Roys camp Activities: Bushmen village DAY 9: Leave after breakfast for Etosha National Park, tour half of the Park during the day, have lunch at Halali, tour Park again in Afternoon and overnight At Halali
Rest Camp in the middle of Etosha National Park. You can sit and watch the elephants, hippos, rhinos, lions and other game at the waterhole at the lodge in the late afternoon. Accommodation: Halili Activities: Etosha National Park
DAY 10: Leave after breakfast, tour the rest of the park and then continue through Outjo to Khorixas and overnight at Mowani Mountain Camp in Damaraland. Accommodation: Mowani Mountain Camp Activities: Relax and enjoy the views. DAY 11: Do a game drive for the Damara Elephants in the morning. Have lunch at the lodge Visit the Burnt mountain, Twyfelfontein and the rock paintings in the afternoon.

DAY 14: Leave after breakfast for the coast. Overnight at the Hansa Hotel in Swakopmund. Swakopmund is like many towns in Namibia that pride themselves on their German heritage. The Hansa Hotel is located in the middle of town and everything is with in walking distance. Very interesting town to just walk and visit museums and galleries. Have dinner at Cookies pub, that is the best place ever if you like seafood. Accommodation: Hansa Hotel Activities: Museums, galleries
DAY 15: Leave after breakfast for Solitude Beach that is one of the most beautiful spots along our coastline. The bay is situated south of Henties Bay and boasts a rocky shore visible at low tide and the hummocks, dunes formed by the accumulation of sand around the plants living in this extremely arid area. After visiting Solitude Beach, drive down the Cape Cross to see the Seals, a colony of 250 000 Cape fur seals. Eat lunch at a restaurant and return to the Hansa Hotel for the night. DAY 16: Do a tour to the desert and explore the Moon Valley and the Welwitschia plants in the desert. Overnight at the Hansa Hotel in Swakopmund again. On the edge of the Namib Desert, in the midst of gravel plains, bordering the Namib Naukluft Park, there lies a little town called Solitaire.
In the middle of nowhere, after hundreds of km driving it will feel like a Fata Morgana coming up. The mystic little settlement of Solitaire does justice to its name in more than one way. Solitaire with its Charisma will take you back to the beginning of the 1900 s. Enjoy an incredible sunset over the oldest desert in the world. Overnight at Solitaire Lodge. Up and away as you sail silently over the reddish dune sea of the Namib. The duration of the excursion is about 3.5 hours. The flight takes about one hour and ends with an exclusive Champagne breakfast at the landing spot in scenic nature. The breakfast is followed by a nature drive back to Sossusvlei lodge. Luderitz is a fantastically windswept and desolate little place, gateway to the Diamond Coast. The lure of the diamond fields remains to this day, albeit as a tourist attraction, centred on the famous ghost town of Kolmanskop and supplemented by some excellent guided expeditions into previously forbidden areas.
Enjoy your first night just relaxing watching the ocean from your room. Accommodation: Luderitz Nest Hotel Activities: Luderitz and relax DAY 21: After breakfast visit the ghost town Kolmanskop. Once a thriving diamond-mining town, Kolmanskop is now abandoned, fighting a constant battle against the sandstorms and Mother Nature in the Namibian desert. Founded in 1908 when a rail worker in the area discovered a diamond, Kolmanskop enjoyed nearly fifty years of history until the town was all but abandoned in 1954 when the diamond mines finally dried up.

DAY 24: Depart after breakfast to Seeheim Hotel on the way to Keetmanshoop. This hotel is a oases in the desert, very rustic. Built from local rock in 1896 to house Schutztruppe (German colonial forces), it was converted into a hotel in the roaring twenties, and became the pivotal place of activities as the town of Seeheim prospered and grew. For visitors interested in the historical aspects of the surrounding, there are ruins to explore, while the activities of the Schutztruppe are evidenced by rusting ammunition scattered in the surrounding foothills.
