Each year between July and November, the mighty Humpback Whales arrive and splash in the safe protected waters of Hervey Bay. Fraser Lodge Holiday Park Map Guest Information! The wish of management and staff is for all guests to be able to enjoy a safe, happy, friendly and relaxing stay whilst at the park. Be considerate of others and ensure your accommodation/site and belongings are kept secure and tidy at all times. Please read the following which applies to all guests, residents or invited visitors. AMENITIES: Are situated near the back pool and are open 24 hours for your convenience. All children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult and be supervised at all times. BASKETBALL BUCKET: Located near the family villas. Equipment is available for hire from reception with a refundable deposit. BBQ AREAS: There are several FREE BBQ areas provided throughout the park. BICYCLES/SCOOTERS/ROLLERBLADES: These are allowed during daylight hours but guests should observe all the road rules including the wearing of helmets and necessary protective gear. CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES. An inhouse licence is needed for all guests to use & enjoy these items within the property. No skateboards, rip stiks or similar items are to be used within the park. CAMP KITCHEN: There are 2 camp kitchens situated within the park for your convenience. Please leave clean after your use. See park map for locations. DEPOSIT FOR HIRE EQUIPMENT: Refundable deposits are required for the hire of equipment. Please see reception for more details. GAMES ROOM/TV ROOM/KIDS ACTIVITY CENTRE: Located adjacent to the holiday units, open from 8am 9.30pm. Children under 12 must be supervised at all times. Please register your name at reception. A refundable deposit is required to hire cues & table tennis bats. INTERNET: Located in reception. This is a non smoking area and is open from 7.30am 7pm. Recharge cards for internet access available for purchase from reception. WIFI (wireless hotspot) is also available in our internet kiosk and throughout the park. PETS: Sorry, no pets allowed. GO KARTS: Available from 8am 6pm daily (8am 5pm during winter), $10 per hour or $50 per day. A refundable deposit of $200 is required. Go Karts are not allowed out of the park at any time and are only to be used in designated areas. Safety helmets must be worn at all times. CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES. An inhouse licence and go kart agreement is needed for all guests to use & enjoy go karts within the property. LAUNDRY: There are 2 laundry blocks located throughout the park. They have coin operated washing machines and driers for your use. The front laundry is open 24 hours and back laundry is open 7am 9pm, for your convenience. QUIET TIME: Please be respectful of the enjoyment of others within the park by restricting noise from television, music and social gatherings between the hours of 9pm and 8am. RECEPTION HOURS: 7.30am 7pm (7 days). Closed Christmas Day. REFUND/CANCELLATION: Details of our policy is available from reception. Please be aware that we are unable to refund any monies for late arrivals, early departures or in the event of inclement weather. SMOKING: Please note that smoking is not permitted in any accommodation or in and around the community areas. SPECIAL NEEDS: Access friendly shower and toilet facilities are located within the park. See park map for location. Special access accommodation is also available. SWIMMING POOL: There are 2 swimming pools for your enjoyment. Pool hours: 8am 8.30pm in summer and 8am 6pm in winter. Please be aware that there is no life guard on duty. Children must be supervised at all times in these areas. The use of the pool is for guests only. Please observe the rules to ensure safe use. Do not take glass containers of any kind into the pool areas. TENNIS COURT: Please register your name at reception (adult required). White soled or non marking shoes are required. Free use of court with a refundable deposit for equipment hire. A fee will apply for lost balls or damaged racquets.
How to get to Fraser Lodge... From the North: Approx. 20 kms north of Maryborough take the TORBANLEA exit on the left hand side and follow the signs to HERVEY BAY. From the South: Take the MARYBOROUGH exit off the Bruce Highway and follow the signs to HERVEY BAY. On arrival into HERVEY BAY: On arrival at the round a bout, turn right, this will take you onto Boat Harbour Drive. Travel along Boat Harbour Drive for 5kms, turn left into Bideford street (also the Torquay Beach turnoff), then turn right into Torquay Terrace and left into Fraser Street, we are 100 mtrs further down on the right hand side.
