Social Skills School Scenarios Aim of activity: To get pupils to think about appropriate responses to situations that may arise at school. Design: The small scenario cards are colour coded to match the appropriate square on the spinner board. You should also make up some scenario cards that reflect incidents that have happened to the pupils included in the group Instructions: The first pupil spins the spinner and takes the corresponding card. The scenario is read out and the pupil is asked what he would do in that situation. It might be helpful to write this answer down on a whiteboard. The group then discuss whether this would be a good idea or not and why. You can role play various alternatives. Before moving to the next card the group should agree on the best action to take in the given situation.
