Day 04 Delhi Mandawa You will take the road to the Shekhawati gateway to Rajasthan and land of the noble merchants marwaris, who made their fortune in the 18th and 19th century through the caravan trade. Dinner along the way. Installation at the hotel and discovery of the typical havelis, small palaces of Persian inspiration richly adorned with colorful frescoes. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Day 05 Mandawa Bikaner Departure for Bikaner, a desert city of Thar, former princely capital of the fifteenth century. The city rises on a small plateau which gives it an imposing air that reinforces still more the marvelous ramparts which surround it. Bikaner is the cradle of the famous Camel Corp who played a big role in the desert wars. Arrival in Bikaner, dinner at a local restaurant. Visit of the city, the fort of JUNNAGARH and the GANGA JUBILEE MUSEUM, which houses collections of the Maharajahs. Walk in TUK-TUK in the small streets of the city and the Havelis. You will also visit the Jain Temple as you stroll through the old town in tuk-tuk and tastings of Indian pastries. Day 06 Bikaner Jaisalmer Departure for Jaisalmer, beautiful caravan city founded in 1155 by Rao Jaisal.
