Arrival Procedures Using Wristbands PARK and WALK your camper to the Check-in Area EVERY morning. At check-in, get your camper s name tag and matching parent/ child wristbands which you will need for PICK-UP. Wristband colors change each day so you must walk your child in to get the NEW wristband for pick-up that day. Find their Team Name on their name tag and place their lunch in their team bag. If you need to add or remove a person from your Authorized Pick-Up List, see one of the WinShape Camp Leadership Team members from Peninsula Baptist Church. If your camper ARRIVES LATE (after 8:30 am) WALK your camper in to the church entrance and the receptionist will escort your camper to the correct location. Attendance If your camper is sick or will not be attending camp that day, please call the church office at 704-664-2958 so we can account for them.
Pick-Up Procedures (Monday-Thursday) Begins Promptly at 4:55 pm Park in the back parking lot. (see map on last page) Follow Directional signs to the Worship Center and WAIT at the back door. Show your license and matching wristband to the WinShape Camp Team Checkout member. Your name will be checked to see if it is on the Authorized Pick-Up list. Important Notes: Only adults listed on the authorized list will be able to pick-up their child. If you need to add or remove and individual from the authorized pick-up list for your child, please see a WinShape Camp Checkout Team Member. If you have adult listed as an authorized pick-up person and they do not have the matching wristband, the adult will need to show their license for pick-up. No Exceptions. If you drop-off in the morning and another authorized adult is picking-up your child, we suggesting taking a picture of the wristband and sending it to that adult. Once approved, in order to maintain safety, groups of 20 authorized adults will be allowed into the Worship Center to pick-up their child. Your camper will be sitting in a line with their group by tribe, color and team.
Pick-Up Procedures (Monday-Thursday) Continued Once you locate your camper s team: Present the matching wristband to the WinShape Team Leader. They ll check the wristband numbers to make sure they match. If the wristbands match the leader will TAKE the adult s wristband and CUT the wristband off the child s wrist. The WinShape Camp Team Leader will TAKE your camper s name tag for use the next day. Important Note: Upon exiting the Worship Center, a WinShape Camp Team member will double-check to make sure your camper s wristband and name tag have been taken by their leader. This lets us know that your camper has been released to the appropriate authorized adult. If you have another child to pick-up, proceed to that group quickly and follow the same check-out procedures. Please be PROMPT in picking up your child and exit quickly. If you need to speak to a friend or make other plans, please do so after you have left the building. This allows us to let the next group of parents in to pick-up their campers. Thank you! Sno-Cones are available daily before and after camp. For $4 your camper can purchase unlimited sno-cones for the week. Lost and Found: There is a lost and found located outside of the Worship Center. Items not claimed for 2 weeks after camp will be donated to charity.
