Educate Scouts on Summer Camp Located on Santa Catalina Island, CA Camp Emerald Bay (CEB) Run by Los Angeles County Council Pirate themed camp Goal This summer camp is to have a good time first and productivity in a close second. Getting to SEATAC Pack Check Thursday July 31 st California Departure Day August 2 nd Meet at Scout Hall 8:00 AM Load gear Head to Bremerton Ferry (need 7 parent volunteers with five seatbelts each) Gear will be taken by vehicle to SEATAC Scouts will take Light Rail to SEATAC Eat Lunch at SEATAC between 11:45 am and 12:30 pm Flight Leaves at 1:05 PM on Delta 1822 14
Arriving LAX Flight Arrives at 3:48 pm Troop 412 Pick up Troop 1539 at LAX Head to Fountain Valley Dinner at the Troop Meeting Location (Church Hall) Sleep in Hall over night 15
Aug 3 rd Camp Departure Day Troop 412 Take Troop 1539 to San Pedro On our Own Sack Breakfast at San Pedro Ferry will Leave sometime between 12:00 and 12:30 pm 16
Returning Home August 9 th Check out of Camp Emerald Bay 12:30 pm Ferry back to San Pedro (Camp provides Lunch) 2:30pm Go West Adventures charter bus to LAX 4:30pm Arrive LAX Dinner at LAX 6:10pm Delta Flight 1531 Departs 8:42pm Arrive SeaTac Parent caravan pick up (need 6 parent volunteers with 5 seatbelts each) Meet at Scout Hall 1.5 hours after flight arrival We will call parents from airport to confirm Check Flight Aware for flight status 17

Where is this Camp? Camp is located on the leeward side of the island at the West End of Santa Catalina Island Camp Emerald Bay is West of Two Harbors Scouts are shuttled by Shore Boat Enter Camp at Pier; Gear is also taken in by Boat (Barge) Emerald bay Two Harbors 20

Misc Camp Info Waiter duty- It will be on a rotating roster. Waiters must be at the mess hall 20-30 minutes early. No one in camp after wake up call (no sleeping in).
