WELCOME Welcome to our Open Day I am delighted to welcome you to our Open Day. You will find that the University of Chichester is a close-knit, friendly community across two campuses at Chichester and Bognor Regis. I urge you to see as much of the campuses as possible and speak to as many people as you can, to give you the best opportunity to get a feel for student life here at the University of Chichester. We have so much going on that you can get involved with, including accommodation and campus tours, workshops, meet and greets and talks. These very special places with both modern and historical buildings, exceptional specialist equipment and resources, great social and sporting facilities, and beautifully tended gardens are set up to enable you to feel part of the University from the start. The surrounding environment includes the cultural city of Chichester, the blue flag beach at Bognor Regis, the outstanding digital and creative communities of the region, and the outstanding natural beauty of the South Downs, so if you have time, do go and take a look around the local area. Our students tell us that they like it here we exceeded the National Student Survey UK average for overall satisfaction by 3-6% for the last decade. We are proud to have been awarded the University of Year for Retention in 2014 and 2017 by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide. This recognises that our students stay with us to complete their qualification and graduate. We are also ranked 10th in the UK for Overall Student Experience, 5th for Academic Experience and 3rd for Student Welfare and Security respectively in the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey 2018. So we hope that you like it here, too, after your visit today. Thank you for taking the time to visit us and we hope to see you again soon.
