It is also accepted by the Civil Aviation Authorities of all Western Nations including U.S.A, Canada, U.K., Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany etc. For some reason Kenya, South Korea and India do not accept it, and therefore those students are forced to fly the technologically inferior, older, less reliable, more expensive Piper Cherokee. By 2017 the Sling2 will have EASA type certification and then all students will be able to enjoy its benefits. The price lists below are for the Sling2 aircraft. If you can only accept the Piper Cherokee, you need to add R400 per hour to all aircraft flight hours except for the Simulator and Multi. Your training will therefore cost R 66 800.00 more than the total figure below.
