The Officer positions are: President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Jim invited everyone to go to our web site www.thevillagesaviation.com to avail him or herself of the large amount of aviation information on the site, peruse club activities, and see photos of our Fly Outs. Now that everyone needing an FAA Medical Certificate (Class I, II or II) or Student Pilot Medical Certificate is REQUIRED to use The Federal Aviation Administration s MedXPress System, we have added a FAA MEDICAL PAGE that contains hyperlinks to the FAA System that explains the details of how the Program works. This System requires anyone requiring an FAA Medical Certificate or Student Pilot Medical Certificate to electronically complete, and submit, their medical application (FAA Form 8500-8), prior to seeing their AME. Dr. Roger Sherman, the longtime local Senior AME used by many of our members, passed away on Jan. 14, 2015. Dr. Sherman and his wife Joanne had been
regular Guest Speakers at our meetings for many years. The Flying Buddy List is now posted on the Club Web Site. This is a list of member Pilots that are interested in flying together, and sharing the costs, with other Pilots. This list is one that a Pilot could go to if they wanted to go flying, and would like another Pilot in the Right Seat. If anyone would like to add their name to the list, contact Nelson Bailes at the next meeting. TICO Warbird Airshow.
