Section 1: Introduction The purpose of this report is to provide colleagues with information about the level of beneficiary engagement with Greater Manchester Talent Match in each Greater Manchester local authority. It covers the numbers engaged, Talent Coach coverage, job outcomes and information about the young people supported. Data presented in this report covers the period 1st April 2008 to 30th June 2018. This document is not intended as a complete report on Greater Manchester Talent Match; rather, it is a breakdown of the work carried out in each Local Authority area. The funding for Greater Manchester Talent Match is due to end on 30th November 2018. No further young people were enrolled after 31st March 2018. However, our records do include some young people with a start date after 31st March. Therefore, data pertaining to the number of young people registered will be significantly less for the reporting period For a monthly round-up of the work of Greater Manchester Talent Match, including Greater Manchester-wide figures, case studies and the latest news from the programme, please subscribe to our monthly e-news update via the Greater Manchester Talent Match website. Context Greater Manchester Talent Match is a Big Lottery-funded programme bringing together the private, public and voluntary sectors to support young people aged 18-24 who have been out of, education or training for twelve months or more and who need extra support to help them along their pathway to work. The Greater Manchester Talent Match partnership is led by Greater Manchester Centre for Voluntary Organisation (GMCVO) and includes New Economy, Greater Manchester Youth Network (GMYN), private sector employers (The Co-operative Group and Addleshaw Goddard), the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Manchester Skills and Employment Partnership. Local organisations are commissioned to host Talent Coaches who deliver the one-to-one, intensive support provided by the programme. For more information about our host organisations, please visit the Get Support page of our website. Explanation on terminology and more information about how these figures are reached are available in appendix i.
