Offham Manor Offham Manor is a beautiful Grade II* listed village house occupying a prominent position close to the village green. The original house dates back to the 14th century, the middle portion
to the Jacobean period of the early 17th century, with a very impressive Queen Anne façade believed to have been added in the very early 18th century. The house is set in its beautifully tended walled garden extending to just under 1 acre. The house has been sympathetically refurbished by the current vendors and provides spacious and elegant accommodation throughout with well proportioned rooms and a wealth of original features. Ground floor The front door opens into the panelled entrance hall off which are the principal reception rooms. The dining room and sitting room are at the south end of the house with tall sash windows overlooking the front. The panelled drawing room has a large inglenook fireplace with French doors and views over the garden. The kitchen / breakfast room is a large and very light room with quarry floor tiles, a range of floor mounted units with a centre island and a gas Aga. In addition there is a utility room, rear lobby, guest cloakroom and a glazed garden room which takes full advantage of the views over the garden. First and second floors Stairs lead to a central landing off which the bedroom accommodation is accessed. The master bedroom is to the front and has a staircase up to the en-suite bathroom and dressing room. In addition there are six further bedrooms, two family bathrooms and a separate WC.
Cellar The cellar is accessed from the outside and comprises a store room and wine cellar. Garden and grounds The garden at Offham Manor is one of the highlights of the property, being enclosed behind a tall period brick wall. It is mostly laid to lawn with beautifully tended flower beds, mature shrubs and trees. In the north west corner of the garden is a heated swimming pool which is surrounded by a child-proof fence, trellising and a glazed summerhouse. The entrance to Offham Manor is flanked on either side by a high wall and leads to a gravel parking area and lawn with large mature trees. The drive leads around the rear of the house to the garage.
