Be sure to stock up before Passover as items sell out fast! We also want to remind you of a few things that would make your child s experience more enjoyable: Dress your child for outdoor play or provide the necessary clothes (boots, snowpants, tuques, gloves, scarves etc.) Don t forget to check your Passover Camp Calendar for Theme Day clothes! A pair of running shoes for indoor play. Swimming suit and waterproof shoes for the pool deck Clearly label all clothing, including winter clothing, such as jackets, hats, snowpants, etc. An extra set of dry clothes (especially for younger children) in case something gets wet during outdoor play. All medication must be clearly marked with your child s name, and the dosage instructions should be written on it. All medication will be stored securely in the camp office. If your child carries an Epipen, please ensure that two are brought to camp each day for your child. One to stay in the camp office and one to stay on your child. Please do not bring any valuables to camp as we cannot be responsible for these items and they can be easily lost, this includes but not limited to electronics smart phones, tablets, portable music devices, money, portable video game systems and trading cards (i.e. Pokemon cards). Please pack every day at least one Kosher, nut-free, snack and LUNCH for your children as well as a refillable water bottle.

Recreational Swim is a staple activity during our Break Camp programs. Swim is one of our camper favourites and we are happy to offer it daily in the indoor saltwater pools at Schwartz/Reisman Centre. Campers enjoy splishing, splashing, diving, and playing every day. This section will outline some important guidelines to ensure that our swim program is safe and enjoyable for all our campers. Safety is always a priority at The Jack and Pat Kay Centre Camp. All of the pool rules will be explained to the campers on their first day of camp. Our Recreational Swim program will be supervised by qualified Schwartz/Reisman Centre lifeguards. All our cabin staff also swim with their campers to ensure that low ratios are maintained. To ensure that all of our campers and staff are properly supervised, we ask that swim remains a visitor-free zone. We know that many of our camp families are also members at Schwartz/Reisman Centre, however, we ask that the pool area remain guardian free during camp swim times. During our Recreational Swim program, campers in Bonim (JK and SK campers) will require a lifejacket at all times. We follow all of the safety guidelines set by the National Lifesavings Society and Schwartz/Reisman Centre to provide the safest experience for our campers. We are happy to provide a free, daily, towel service to all of our Break Camp campers! Please also send labeled goggles with your camper if their eyes are sensitive to the salt water.

Stay tuned daily for camp updates, information, videos, photos and links! You will be able to view daily pictures centrecamp.ca/photos. Please note that our photo gallery is password protected; you can access the photos by logging in with your Camp Account used to register for camp! The case sensitive password for the photo gallery is: Passovercamp2018 In case of extreme weather or other changes that impact our typical routine (i.e. pick up/drop off location), the camp team will send a message via SMS/TEXT once the change has been confirmed. We will only be sending important information as it pertains to Passover Camp and will NOT send anything else via SMS/TEXT. To stay in the loop, we ask that you do not unsubscribe/cancel these text messages. Thank you! All your questions should be directed to the camp office. There is a full-time Office Manager in the Camp Office at all times to answer phones and direct your calls; should you get the voicemail, it simply means that all camp lines are being used. Please leave a message and your call will be returned promptly. At The Jack and Pat Kay Centre Camp, our directors are actively involved in our programs throughout the day, as your campers are very important to us, messages will be returned after 4:30 PM. The Camp Office closes at 6:00PM daily or after each bus has called in their safe arrival and all campers in extended hours have been picked up; any calls received after that time will be returned the next morning. We are committed to making your child s experience at Passover Camp inspiring, ruach-filled, and memorable. We cannot wait to see you all at camp! The Jack and Pat Kay Centre Camp Team
