Conference program (continued) VENICE, ITALY. 2019 ACADEMIC PROGRAM The academic program provides 10 hours of academic sessions and covers each of the mandatory categories of ethics and professional responsibility, practice management and business skills, substantive law, practice and procedure, evidence and professional skills. If you hold a Practising Certificate, and this conference is relevant to your immediate or long term needs in relation to your professional development and practice of the law, then you may be eligible to claim one CPD point per 1 hour of your participation in the academic sessions*. Accreditation for accrued CPD points is determined by the individual professional body for each professional industry and jurisdiction. As CPD rules and accreditation requirements vary across each industry body, delegates should always make their own eligibility enquiries for CPD accreditation. TRAVEL ADVICE AND VISAS All delegates, participants and any persons accompanying them are personally responsible for visa and travel advice associated with the conference. INSURANCE Registration does not include insurance of any kind. Delegates, participants and any persons accompanying them are strongly encouraged to take out appropriate insurance, including cover for travel, accommodation and personal possessions. CPD Global Conferences are not responsible for obtaining or acquiring insurance that covers individuals against the cancellation of bookings for any reason including cancellation or postponement of the conference or for theft or damage to belongings. CPD Global Conferences accepts credit card and bank transfer payments. 3. Depending on your selected payment method, you may be charged a once-off, non-refundable processing fee by our secure payment gateway provider. 4. Any additional fees and charges by our third-party providers will be outlined prior to you finalising and processing your payment. 5. CPD Global Conferences uses a secure platform for registering and making payment for our conferences: a. We use reputable payment gateway STRIPE. b. We maintain a registered SSL certificate registered. 6. Prior to completing payment for registration of a conference, you must read and agree to the conference term and conditions. 7. Registrants are provided a click wrap agreement outlining the conference terms and conditions at time of payment. 8. The click-wrap agreement requires you to read and accept and/ or agree to the conference registration terms and conditions. 9. By clicking accept and/or agree you are entering into a contract bound by the outlined terms and conditions. 10. Conference attendance is secured during the payment process. Once you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions of your booking, you will proceed to payment and receive immediate confirmation via email. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY Subject to your refund and remedy rights under the Australian Consumer law, the following change and cancellation fees apply to all registrations and bookings. 1. All conference registrations are non-refundable. The registration fee will not be refunded regardless if the cancellation is due to non-attendance, change of mind, or sickness prior to or during the conference. 2. Delegates can elect to transfer their registration in accordance with the Transfer Exchange Policy listed below. 3. If you cancel your registration, CPD Global Conferences will retain 100% of the conference registration fee charged, including the non-refundable administration fee. 4. To cancel your registration, you must notify CPD Global Conferences in writing. 5. All notifications to cancel a registration should be delivered to admin@cpdglobalconference.com. 6. Terms and Conditions (continued) TRANSFER EXCHANGE POLICY All registrants are eligible to transfer their registration, in exchange for attendance at an alternative conference. Transfer of conference registration is subject to the following terms and conditions. 1. To be eligible for transfer of your registration a. You must notify CPD Global Conferences of your registration cancellation and request a registration transfer, no later than one day prior to commencement of your booked conference. b. Notification must be provided in writing and delivered to admin@cpdglobalconference.com. c. The notification date is the date written notification is received by CPD Global Conferences. d. On receipt of your cancellation notification and registration transfer request, CPD Global Conferences will confirm, in writing, of your eligibility for transfer of a registration. e. On approval of your registration transfer, CPD Global Conferences will provide information on how to transfer your registration. 2. A registration is only eligible for one transfer to an alternative conference; a transfer of the same registration will not be accepted more than once. 3. Registration transfers are valid for 12 months only. CPD Global Conferences will provide your registration transfer expiry date on approval of your registration transfer request. 4. Transfer of a registration to an alternative conference is subject to availability. 5.
