ORFEUM SUMMER CAMPUS 2018 has been designed by ORFEUM Organization of European Music Festivals to offer young musical talents from around the world and their companions this International Music Encounter. A WEEK on the beautiful island of Tenerife (Canary Islands - Spain) recognized as a prestigious international tourist destination for its hotel facilities, gastronomy, traditions, cultural and historical-artistic heritage and the beauty of its nature, which brings together great beaches, large forests of pine and laurisilva, volcanoes and plantations of subtropical crops. To all this is added the hospitality and friendliness of its people, its beautiful towns and cities and its wonderful climate. Within the broad Activities Program there will be musical performances, master classes, training workshops, talks, meeting of ALFA Alliance of Festivals and Artists and Meeting of Directors of International Music Festivals. Also excursions, cultural visits and free time to enjoy the hotel, make purchases, visit theme parks, museums, natural spaces or enjoy the cuisine of the island.
Tenerife has two spaces declared World Heritage by UNESCO. One of them is the National Park of the Cañadas del Teide (189.9 km2), it is the most visited in the country. Inside the park, is El Teide, a majestic volcano that, with its 3718 meters high, is the highest point in Spain. The other space recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site is the City of San Cristóbal de La Laguna. ORFEUM has been awarded the Friendly Award for Tourism and Citizen Coexistence, awarded by the Initiatives and Tourism Center of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. He has also been awarded the Peace Prize and the Twinning of Peoples Award. All this, together with his long experience in the organization of musical, cultural and educational activities, makes the Orfeum team decide to launch this project that combines MUSIC, PROMOTION OF ARTISTS, TRAINING, CULTURE, NATURE, FUN and, ultimately, CULTURAL TOURISM.

REGULATIONS Can participate in the ORFEUM SUMMER CAMPUS 2018 singers from around the world from 10 years old. Each singer must perform at the ORFEUM INTERNATIONAL GALA CONCERT 1 song, preferably in the national language of the participant. The songs can be original, international hits or other known songs. Maximum duration of 3:30 minutes. All participants will be able to attend the master classes, workshops and activities specially designed for them, as well as interviews and other promotional activities. Upon signing the registration form, the regulations are accepted and the participants authorize the Campus organization to use the songs presented and their performances, as well as their images taken during all scheduled activities, for their promotion and dissemination in the media. Participants also assume full responsibility for any dispute over the origin of the playbacks or musical bases used for their performances. All participants and companions must have their own health insurance. DOCUMENTS AND MATERIAL THAT PARTICIPANTS MUST PRESENT: 2 recent photos Short curriculum Link to some performance of the singer (if available on YouTube or another portal) Mp3 of the half - playback (minus track) of the song to be performed at the gala concert.
