What Campers Need and don t need for camp
Needs SUMMER CAMP 2018 Comfortable Clothes Typical & Field Trip Days - shorts and t-shirts (school appropriate) - camp t-shirts on field trip days - tennis shoes (no flip flops or sandal type footwear) Water/Pool Days - Swimsuits (worn under clothes) - flip flops, water shoes, or crocs (in backpack) - towel & underwear (in backpack)
Needed everyday Needs Lunch - Items that do not need to be refrigerated or heated - No paper or plastic bags please - No sodas or candy please Note: Occasionally Summer Camp will provide lunch. These dates will be posted on the calendars.
Needs SUNSCREEN Every camper will need their own sunscreen Campers will not share Needs to be left at camp Spray Sunscreen is preferred Staff will label and store with the appropriate team Parents will be notified when sunscreen gets low It is the parents responsibility to provide sunscreen when needed

What to Expect when arriving to Camp

1 st Day of Camp Check in with Parent Greeter Verify name and contact information Get any updated information Medication Authorization Forms & Medicines Sign in on computer
Signing In & Out Every authorized pick up person has their own PIN Enter PIN into the computer on the number pad Verify you are signing in or out the correct camper No children are allowed to use the computers If you need to add or remove an authorized person, let the Parent Greeter know No one is authorized to sign out a camper without a PIN or permission from the parent. A call will be made to the parent to verify. Some type of ID will be required.
Camper has Medicine If your child needs medication during the day, an Authorized Medication Form must be completed Medicine will be placed in a labeled zip lock bag with the Medication Form The bag will be put into a first aid backpack of the team your camper is assigned. The backpack remains with the team at base camp and on field trips. Staff will give your camper their medicine and document it on the form

Field Trips Buses leave at the time posted on the schedule 9:00am trips campers have snack early at 8:00am Try to have campers at camp by 8:00am so they can get snack and prep for the trip such as have sunscreen applied Campers need to wear camp t-shirts Lunches are stored in bins and loaded under the bus There is NO need for campers to bring money on trips. We do not visit gift shops or purchase food or other items.
Field Trips Trips are subject to change or cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances Parents will be notified of any changes as soon as possible We do our best to return to base camp at the times posted. If delayed due to unforeseen reasons, the field trip team will contact the Camp Director. She will let parents who are waiting at base camp know and send out a text on Remind.com keeping parents up to date.
Field Trips Parents may join us on field trips You must to provide your own transportation and admission cost You may join as part of your camper s group, but campers must participate with the group We do not encourage parents to take their camper and experience the trip by themselves, but if they wish to do so, they must sign the camper out of Imprints Cares for the day.
