RAAF Amberley C-17A project Amberley, Queensland CPB Contractors is the Managing Contractor responsible for the design and construction of the RAAF Amberley C-17A project, which will upgrade the maintenance facility, aircraft apron and associated facilities. Works include building a maintenance hangar for C-17 aircraft, working accommodation for maintenance personnel, a countermeasure holding and preparation facility, aircraft parking apron, in-ground aviation re-fuelling and high-mast lighting capabilities, and the Explosive Ordnance Pallet Build Facility. Construction commenced in 2015 and is due for completion in September 2018. $194 million RAAF Base Williamtown Redevelopment Stage 2 Williamtown, New South Wales CPB Contractors is the Managing Contractor responsible for the planning and construction of the RAAF Base Williamtown Redevelopment Stage 2 project. Works include building new office accommodation for more than 950 personnel over five levels, a new auditorium for 250 personnel, a new Army and Air Force Canteen Service (AAFCANS) facility and commercial precinct, upgrades to base entries and new road alignments inside the base, new on-grade car parks and landscaping, and adaptive reuse of existing buildings. Construction commenced in July 2015 and is due for completion in 2021. $274 million RAAF Amberley C-17A project, QLD CPB Contractors I Defence Capability Statement 7

HMAS Albatross Redevelopment Stage 5 Nowra, New South Wales CPB Contractors was the Managing Contractor for the HMAS Albatross Stage 5 Redevelopment, providing the growth capacity and efficiency required to ensure it remains a valuable long-term asset. Works included upgrades and replacements to the emergency power station; substations and cabling; communications network; gas, water, stormwater and sewer infrastructure; telecommunications security; and fire alarm systems. The project also involved the demolition of buildings and the construction of a headquarters for the Fleet Air Arm. Construction commenced in 2013 and was completed in mid-2017. $192 million Headquarters Joint Operations Command (HQJOC) Bungendore, New South Wales A CPB Contractors-led consortium won the Australian Government s first Public Private Partnership contract to design, construct, operate and maintain the Headquarters Joint Operations Command (HQJOC). The Defence HQJOC is a stateof-the-art command and control facility, accommodating about 750 Defence Force personnel. It delivers an integrated approach to Defence operations by bringing together multiple agencies to enhance joint planning and resource allocation. The facility achieved a 5-Star Australian Building Greenhouse Rating (ABGR). Construction commenced in October 2006 and the command centre was handed over in June 2009. $300 million Public Private Partnership (design, construct, maintain) Defence HQJOC, NSW CPB Contractors I Defence Capability Statement 9

RAAF Base Tindal Redevelopment Tindal, Northern Territory CPB Contractors was the Managing Contractor for the RAAF Base Tindal Redevelopment. The design and construct project involved two phases. First, the Stage 5 redevelopment included refurbishing, upgrading or replacing of existing facilities, such as parking aprons and messes. Second, the Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) Aircraft Facilities upgrade accommodated Boeing 737 Aircraft. Despite a high degree of technical difficulty and significant constraints, such as the remote location, CPB Contractors delivered on schedule and under budget. Construction commenced in 2009 and was completed in April 2011. $105 million RAAF Base Amberley, Australian Super Hornet Facilities Amberley, Queensland CPB Contractors was the Managing Contractor for the RAAF Base Amberley, Australian Super Hornet Facilities project. The project involved intricate coordination of third-party contractors responsible for delivering specialist plant and equipment. Works included design and construction of facilities to meet US Navy standards for intricate security separation and zoning; secure communication systems, speech privacy, access control and audit trailing, as well as installation of electrical conversion units to address the large power requirement. CPB Contractors also delivered a simulation facility for Defence Force personnel.
