This Archives collects and conserves various kinds of the written materials on the May18 Uprising broken out at May 18 1980, and makes use of this recordings as valuable historical assets. The records in this archives contain not only the recordings but also various pieces of photos, films, and videos. Mugaksa Temple is in Gwangju Metropolitan city as an urban Buddhist Temple. Mugaksa Temple has stained glass with some parts of the Buddha story on it, which is quite unique since stained glass is usually used in catholic churches. The temple is used as a cultural resting area and artistic spot for meeting without any religious barrier. 15
