VENUE The British Orthopaedic Association Exhibition will be held in the Foyer of The Brighton Centre, Kings Road, Brighton, BN1 2GR Tel: 01273 290131. ORGANISATION Janet Mills, BOA Exhibition Manager, will be on site in Brighton from 08.00 hours Thursday 11 September 2014. Tel: 02392 570888 BUILD UP TIMES The Brighton Foyer will be available to exhibitors and their contractors from 14.00-19.00 on Thursday 11 September. All stands must be complete and ready for the exhibition opening at 08.30 hrs, Friday 12 September 2014. OPENING TIMES The Exhibition will be open at the following times: Friday 12 September 2014 08.30-16.00 hrs Reception 12 September 2014 17.30-19.00 hrs Saturday 13 September 2014 09.30-10.30 hrs BREAKDOWN/COLLECTION OF EXHIBITS Breakdown of stands will commence after coffee on Saturday 13 September 2014 at 10.30 hrs. The exhibition hall must be clear of all exhibitors, materials and standfittings by 16.00 hrs, Saturday 13 September 2014. Unfortunately, The Brighton Centre are unable to accept deliveries prior to the event build up on 12 September 2014. PARKING Exhibitors can offload immediately outside the Brighton Centre but must move into one of the numerous Car Parks once vehicles are unloaded. EXHIBITOR BADGES Exhibitor badges must be worn by all stand personnel whilst within The Brighton Centre. Please complete the order form on page 8 of this guide. These badges will be available for collection from the Exhibition Registration Desk on arrival in Brighton and will not be sent by post to exhibitors. STANDFITTING SERVICE/DETAILS a) The appointed shell scheme contractors are:- EUROPA INTERNATIONAL Europa House Meaford Way London, SE20 8RA Tel: 020 8676 0062 Fax: 020 8676 9976 www.europainternational.com b) Your stand comes complete with 2m high internal walls with 1m returns and no fascia. A diagram can be found on the BOA website. c) Fixing to the shell walls should be carried out using Velcro tape or tabs, available for sale on site. For heavy fixing, exhibitors should consult the stand contractor, Europa International. Fixing with nails, screws, staples and glue etc. to the wall panels is NOT PERMITTED. Any damage must be paid for. d) Optional extras such as panelling, doors, shelves etc. are available using the Europa Shell Scheme Extras Order Form on the BOA website. FLOOR COVERING/CARPET The Brighton Centre has blue carpet. 4

Additional requirements can be ordered using the Europa Electrical Order Form on the BOA website. FURNITURE The appointed furniture contractors are:- EUROPA INTERNATIONAL Europa House Meaford Way London, SE20 8RA Tel: 020 8676 0062 Fax: 020 8676 9976 www.europainternational.com Each stand comes complete with a table, but you will need to bring a cloth, and two chairs. A brochure, price list and order form for additional furniture such as showcases can be downloaded from the BOA website. Please return the Order Form direct to Europa International. HEIGHT RESTRICTION a) Shell Scheme Stands The shell scheme height is 2m INTERNET ACCESS The Brighton Centre provides free Delegate Wi-Fi which Exhibitors are able to access. However, this is NOT recommended if specific upload or download speeds are essential for demonstrating your services in which case you will need to order dedicated wired internet. Please contact janetmills@btconnect.com in the first instance. 5
STORAGE No storage space is available at The Brighton Centre. Exhibitors are requested to make any necessary arrangements for the removal and storage of empty boxes, cartons, wrappers etc., prior to the opening of the Exhibition. Onsite Exhibition Services Ltd will be able to assist with storage (see Access/Delivery of Exhibits section on page 3 of this guide) CATERING/BAR SERVICES Full catering and bar services are available at The Brighton Centre through their official caterers, who have the sole rights to provide food and drink for consumption on stands and the premises. All catering enquiries should be directed to:- Kudos Brighton Centre Kings Road Brighton, BN1 2GR Coffee, tea and lunch for two exhibitors per stand will be available free of charge each day. Additional tickets can be purchased at 32.00 per head and will need to be ordered in advance. Please complete the catering form on page 9 of this guide. RECEPTION Each exhibiting company is entitled to two complimentary tickets for the Reception at The Brighton Centre on Friday 12 September 2014, 17.30-19.00. PROGRAMME EDITORIAL ENTRY Each exhibiting company may have up to 700 characters of free copy in the 2014 Final Congress Programme which will be given to each delegate on arrival at the Meeting. This will be submitted when you complete the online application form. BOA APP Each exhibiting company may have 700 characters of free copy in the BOA App. Please submit copy via the same link as the Congress Programme Editorial entry, as above, which will only be available until 31 July 2014. 6
STAND CLEANING Stand cleaning is included in the stand rental charge and will be carried out each day prior to opening. However, exhibitors are responsible for the maintenance of their stand areas in a clean and rubbish free state during the open period of the Exhibition. HOTEL ACCOMMODATION The accommodation link has already been sent and you are advised to make reservations, as soon as possible, if you have not already done so. DELEGATE REGISTRATION/PROGRAMME Please see the BOA website (www.boa.ac.uk) for delegate registration details and an up to date programme for the BOA Annual Congress. DELEGATE LIST It is hoped that by 14 th August the BOA will be in a position to supply an advance list of delegates who have pre-registered. This list will then be sent to exhibitors. A final list, including day registrations will be sent after Congress. 7
